Hi Everyone! It's Nicole here with a cute masculine card that would be great for a young boy's birthday. This card uses embossing paste and Copic coloring to really brighten things up.
I started by taping down my stencil from MFT stamps onto a clipboard.
I started by taping down my stencil from MFT stamps onto a clipboard.
Then, I colored some embossing paste using some spiced marmalade distress ink.
I put the background aside to dry for a couple of hours and used Copics to color in these adorable images from Avery Elle's Surfs Up stamp set.
I stamped the sentiment on some Turquoise paper and stapled it directly to the background to give it a "boyish" look. But....I couldn't help myself and I put some enamel hearts on the windows of the van.
Here's a closer look!
On the inside, I used the same stencil, distress ink, and the mini ink blending tool to make this bright and cheerful sunray. It's light enough to write a note to the recipient on top.
Hope you enjoyed this card! See you next week. --Nicole
Cute card, I need to use my stencils more!
