Hi Crafty Friends, Julianne here sharing a fun card filled with nothing but summer vibes. I fell in love with the MFT July release and needed everything. Does this happen to anyone else? I have mentioned before how much I love the Birdie Brown illustrations and the July release had two super cute stamp sets; Sunshine and Friends as well as the Drink up Sunshine. I used both stamp sets for my card today; Butterfly Reflections, Ink also has all the other great products My Favorite Things offers including their newest release if your interested.
I started out by laying everything out on a slimline card base, I wanted to use as many of the images as possible so I needed a card that would allow me to fit them all in. With the MFT Swimming Pool Die-namic I traced around to determine where I wanted the pools (I wanted the card to feel like it was in the jungle, so would they be called springs) to determine where to put all the animals. Because the girl in the Drink Up Sunshine stamp set is bigger than the animals I made sure to only use half of her in order to make the sizes match up with the animals.
Once I had the placement, I started working on adding in all the different leaves that are offered in both stamp sets. I think out of both stamp sets, the only image I didn't use was the bird in the Drink Up Sunshine stamp set. Once all my images were in place, I used a EK Success pen to draw in stones around the pools and then started working on my coloring.

The coloring definitely took sometime but once I was finished all I had left was to add some white highlights with a white gel pen. To complete my card I added some foam adhesive to the back of some sentiment stripes and adhered them to the top of the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I can't wait to see what you will create. Happy Crafting!
