Hi Butterfly Reflections Ink family! It's Lorraine (Created by Lorraine) here to share a card I made using the London Mouse stamp set from My Favorite Things. I never ever knew that mice could be so cute...
I made this one-layer card by first stamping Big Ben and the Buckingham Palace mice onto masking tape and cutting them out to serve as masks. I then masked off the borders of my watercolor paper card panel, stamped the same images onto the panel in archival (waterproof) ink, and covered the images with the masks. Then, I spritzed some water on the panel and dabbed distress ink on it to create the sky.
After carefully peeling off all of the masks, I used Derwent Inktense pencils to color in the clock and mice. I'm not the best at achieving the classic watercolor look, so I was going for controlled messy:) The sentiment comes from the Bold Statements stamp set from My Favorite Things. It was stamped with Versafine ink after I performed a little stamp surgery.
