Hello there! Silvia's here today with a new shadowbox card today.
I really love this kind of cards, so I instantly fall in love with the new Mama Elephant "Display a Card" die set and then….it's really so easy to use!!!
I started die cutting the biggest die twice from Lawn Fawn craft cardstock and I ink blended the edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink. I also die cut two hill borders from Lawn Fawn cilantro cardstock and ink blended it with mowed lawn Distress Oxide.
To create my scene I decided to play with Lawn Fawn "Mushroom House" die set and "Eggstra Amazing Easter" stamp set.
I stamped images with Memento black ink, colored them with alcohol markers and fussy cut them (if you prefer you can use the coordinating dies).
I die cut the mushroom house using a pink cardstock for the roof and white cardstock colored with pumice stone Distress Oxide ink for the body.
I then built up my scene using some strong double sided tape for the box and liquid glue for house and critters.
I ended my card adding a sentiment stamped on Mama Elephant "3D Arch Banner" die from Lawn Fawn mermaid cardstock.
I really enjoyed myself a lot playing with this new die and I can't wait to make a lot of other shadowbox cards like this.
Thank you so much for spending your time with me today and I hope I inspired you a bit.
Have a great day, Silvia.
