Hi friends! I’m back with another mood board inspired card! This cute scene shows an adorable fox who dropped his broom and bag of candy because he was spooked by a ghost!
My card features a shaker window behind the word “boo” and a couple of jewels to look like candy. The colors were inspired by the mood board below.
To start, I first masked off the moon and then ink blended a sky using the following distress oxide inks (top to bottom): seedless preserves, ripe persimmon and mustard seed. Next, I splatted the background with some water. Then I used the grassy stencil and distress oxide ink colors in pine needles and peeled paint to blend the grass. The panel was cut using the outside in largest stitched rectangle die. The word “boo” was cut using Finley’s ABC die. I saved the inside pieces of the letters so I could glue them into the missing areas later.
Acetate sheet was glued to the back of the panel and double sided foam tape added to the edges to create a shaker. Pretty pink posh glossy black jewels and black sequins used to fill my shaker. The background paper is from the really rainbow 6x6 paper pack. The missing pieces to the letters were glued on at the end.
