Happy Easter Everyone! I'm sharing this fun and colorful Easter card with you today using several Lawn Fawn products which can be purchased at Butterfly Reflections Ink! My colors were inspired by the April mood board (below). I choose to use a gradient of greens, blues, purple and coral colors for my card. Since this card is so colorful, I decided to add in some white in order to focus most of the attention to the critters in front of the card.
To start, I used the stitched rectangles to cut a piece of pattern paper. Then, I cut another smaller rectangle using white card stock. The pieces where then adhered together using liquid glue. Next, I swiped the following Catherine Pooler inks onto scraps of white cardstock: in the park, mint to be, cummerbund, its a boy, serenade, sweet sixteen, be mine, its a girl, do-si-do, bellini, tiara. Then, each piece of cardstock was cut to 1/4 inch strips using a die (paper trimmer also works) and adhered to a piece of printer paper. I used one of the stitched circle frames die by Lawn Fawn and cut it from white card stock. The circle frame was adhered to the piece of paper with the stripes and cut using scissors. This creates the circular rainbow piece in the center of the card.
The images from eggstra amazing were stamped using black copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. I also stamped the sentiment and speech bubble from say what? spring critters. The images were cut using the coordinating dies and white gel pen used to add accents. All the images were adhered to the front of the card using thin foam squares and liquid glue.
The entire card front was adhered to an A2 white card base and that completes the card!
