Hello! Samantha here, and today I have another fun layout to share! :) woo-hoo! It's ok, you can calm down, we're not even at the FUN part yet! Ha! First, a little behind the layout story: My biggest little Mann just finished 1st grade!! It's crazy - I can hardly believe it happened! Anyway, every morning, we would load in the car and sit in the drop off line, eat our breakfast, sing along with songs and go over spelling words!  And the best part - we watched the sunrise almost every morning together! I just had to document this special thing, that we did everyday!  Ok, so I used a thin layer of gesso on the base of my layout. Then I added the photo and all of that lovely layering behind it! I used various papers from lots of 6x6 paper pads...of which, I have just a few (*whistle*). Hello again, Sharna here with another new card. This time my very first Create A Smile card! I have loved them a long time and was finally able to grab a few of the sets I wanted now that we are the only US supplier! So of course I had to have the Narwhal stamps cause I mean come on! They are so cute! I am always in need of baby cards, its like as soon as I make one I use it. Ha! The background is some ink smooshing everyone's liking lately. I tend to smoosh mine all together though. I like the control I have. Anyways the colors I used were Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean &  Tumbled Glass. Also added a few old Lawn Fawn sequins to match. Hi, Joann here sharing a happy and fun birthday card I made!  I started off with a  4 1/2 x 4 1/2 card base. I took some pattern paper from the  Avery Elle Everyday Collection  6x6 paper pad and took the largest square using  MFT-Cross-Stitched Square  die set to cut my first square. I then took the 3rd largest square and some white card stock for my last square. Taking  Lawn Fawn Year Four  stamp and die set (I absolutely LOVE this mini set), I stamped, embossed and watercolored my images on some watercolor paper! This was my first time and I really like the way my little critters and balloons turned out. Finished my card by stamping the sentiment at the bottom and added some foam adhesive to my images and squares to help add some fabulous dimension to the card. Well that is all! Hi there! Amber here with a quick watercolor card to share! I stamped the large framed floral from Neat and Tangled's Gardenia Blooms Journaling Card stamp set! I started by stamping the framed image in versarmark ink on watercolor paper and embossing with white embossing powder. Then I took my Gansai Tambi Watercolor set  (out of stock but they have been re-ordered!) and colored the framed image in. These watercolors are my favorite EVER! The colors are so bright and vivid, you just have to try them. You'll love them:) The best feature is that you can take each of the individual pots out of the pallette! So cool! I embossed the sentiment, also from the Gardenia Blooms Journaling Card stamp set, in black embossing powder . The striped paper is from Crate Paper's Pool Side paper collection. Good morning!   Jess here with a very important life-defining question... Are you a cat person or a dog person? It seems like all of the crafters on my Instagram feed have a furry four-legged friend (or two... or three...) who keeps them company while they're crafting.  Personally, I grew up as a dog person but adopting a kitten last year has slowly started to turn me into a cat person, too!  Now, whenever I'm shopping I always have to balance dog and cat stamps to keep everything fair! So when I saw these adorable Studio Calico Meow and Woof dies I just had to get both!  And this is what I came up with to celebrate my canine companions! And my feline friend! I started off by die-cutting the Meow and Woof dies with piece of black cardstock.  Then I glued them down to a square of white cardstock to create the back panel of my shaker card.  Next I die-cut two square frames and adhered acetate to the back of each frame.  Then I went to work on my furry friends

Rubeena  here sharing a few cards using various sets but with the same focal image. Since I have to set aside time to craft each week, I like being able to make multiple cards (to feel more productive?!) ;-) Each one is a little different. First, I stamped the sitting elephant from WPlus9's very popular  Unforgettable  onto large white cardstock four times. I used a few warm grays to color the elephants. Using micropore tape, I masked off half of the elephant so I could blend in the bottom part with Distress Ink in Crushed Olive as grass and  Tumbled Glass  as sky (I removed the tape to cover the colored side once one side was blended. I hope that made sense! I was careful to color around the elephant. I stamped one of the grass stamps from  Unforgettable  in random spots around each elephant. Using white and black cardstock, I cut out some polaroid frames. I glued each one around the elephants and then fussy cut behind it. For one of the cards, I decided to stamp Create a

First of all, I wanted to take a few minutes in honor of Memorial Day today, to say thank you to all those who have fought and died - and served and sacrificed so much for this country. And the patterned paper on this card did the trick. It is one of my favorite papers ever! To create this card I cut the patterned paper just a little smaller than the white card base. I die cut a circle large enough to fit the greeting. I stamped the greeting on the white card base and found a little heart in a stamp set (many have them).  I stamped it, colored it with a Copic marker then put a little Glossy Accents on it (every card needs some Glossy Accents!). Hello there, Today I'm sharing a card made with Super Script and I Knead You stamp sets.  First, i stamped the yarn ball image over the card base using various shades of pink, orange, and red.  Next, i stamped my "hello" script using 3 different shades of blue and green.  I was trying to do a DIY ombre and it was a pain for me to achieve to gradient from one color to another.  Next time, I'll just invest in an ombre ink pad .  I die cut my "hello" script using the matching die .  My little kitty was stamped, colored with Copics, and die cut .  Lastly, i adhered the script, and the cat using foam tape. Hi there! Amber here today with a fun floral card to share with you! I used the amazing floral set Petals and Stems from Avery Elle! I think this is one of my favorite floral sets EVAH! I pulled out out my Hero Arts Pool to Navy  and Butter to Orange Ombre inks to ink up the big bloom and the yellow/orange bloom! I used MFT Limelight and Jelly Bean Green ink for the leaves.  The tag is from MFT's stitched tags and the "hello" is from Avery Elle's Simply Said Hello.  I finished this card off with some black and white twine and some clear sequins! Good morning, Jessica here with a masculine birthday card featuring fun products from My Favorite Things! I started off by dabbing a little Black Soot Distress Ink onto my craft sheet and mixed it with Dreamweaver Embossing Paste  to create a gray paste.  I used the custom embossing paste color with the  My Favorite Things Equalizer Stencil  on a panel of black cardstock.  I actually misplaced the stencil and it ended up slightly crooked....but it was exactly the shade of grey I was looking for and I knew if I tried to replicate the color I'd be unsuccessful.  So I just decided to go with the flow and off set the whole card! ;) While the embossing paste was still wet I sprinkled it with a little silver glitter but the pieces seemed too big and wouldn't stick so I sprinkled it with silver glitter embossing powder and it stuck!  I never heat-set the paste, just let it dry naturally!  While it was drying I stamped the 'Have a Rockin'' sentiment from Keep on

Hello! Rubeena here with a colorful card featuring WPlus9 products. If you know me, you know I love explosion of colors and sequins. I love that I'm using butterflies for Butterfly Reflections Ink -- get it?? ;-)  I first started with WPlus9's  Small Butterfly Frame Dies . There are two dies so I die-cut the frame one out of teal cardstock and the stand-alone butterfly out of yellow cardstock. The pink one behind the yellow one was actually colored with  Picked Raspberry Distress Ink  since I didn't have any bright pink cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from WPlus9's  Encouraging Words  stamp set on white cardstock that was cut to fit behind the frame. I decided to create a shaker card and add some matching colorful sequins. I glued it down over a striped pattern paper.  I started adding droplets of Irresistable Pico Embellisher in Dandelion and Rose Bud, but for some reason it got messy. Good morning!  Heather  here from  Houses Built of Cards ! We have a fairly large family, so I'm pretty sure the type of card I use more than anything else is birthday cards. It is probably the one I am requested to make more often than anything as well! The masculine ones are always particularly difficult for me, so I'm quite happy when I find a design that will work for that! I love some of the Altenew images for that reason - especially the ones from Geometric Menagerie that I used for this card: I colored it with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out. I stamped a sentiment from Altenew's Birthday Greetings (LOVE this for birthday sentiments!) and heat embossed on vellum with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder (one of my favorites, because it isn't exactly gold, but not exactly silver - kind of in the middle!), then die cut it and a woodgrain panel with Lawn Fawn's Stitched Journaling Card Die . Hi there! Samantha here! And today, I'm sharing this FUN and messy layout! I really LOVE it! I started by smearing some acrylic paint onto my background paper! I just globbed some on in a pool, and then dragged my old credit card down the page! SO fun!! It was like using a screen print without the screen! lol! I used lots of papers from the Brighton Pier and Plus One 6x6 collections to back my photo! I used some of the brands from the My Minds Eye Cut and Paste collection ! That navy color was just TOO cool to pass up! The tabs of text are from the newest Amy Tangerine Rise and Shine collection ! I LOVE adding some of those to my layouts to emphasize the photo and story! I also used the adorable green bow from a Pink Paislee Christmas collection! They are slowly becoming my favorite company! I have LOVED their last few collections! But I digress! I added lots of stitching to the page, and then a few wooden accents that I colored more acrylic paint. The

Hello it's Sharna with another card featuring some WPlus9 goodies!! Its another shaker, because I can't just stop with these. I saw a few other designers make the shakers around the edge of the design so I decided to give it a shot and I love how it came out. I use foam tape for all my projects and I pick it up all over the place in all different widths. I still usually end up cutting the strips in half and doubling up. I should just give in and buy the huge roll of it! The secret really is using some powder around the edges and if you don't have a powder tool just use some baby powder! Just make sure you wipe it off the transparency when you are done getting the edges. This will make sure your shaker shakes well. I used almost all the die cuts from the Sunshine Layers die and shaded all of them using distress inks in yellows & blues. I love how the sunshine came out!  Hello there, Emily here to share a birthday card made with Altenew's Persian Motifs , and Technique Tuesday's Rah Rah Sentiments sets. I started out with cutting a small panel from watercolor paper.  I stamped and white embossed the sentiments and flowers.  Next, using a waterbrush , i added water all over the flowers, then added water colors to just certain areas of the petals.  The water does all the blending for you.  I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi water color set... the colors are just so vibrant and beautiful.  Lastly, i added some clear sequins and adhered watercolor panel on a card base using foam tape. Hello! Amber here today with a watercolor card! I don't know if you've been bitten by the bug yet, but I have and it won't let go! There is just something so satisfying about seeing those watery colors running and blending into new colors:)  I started with a piece of watercolor by Ranger and a couple watercolors from my Koi watercolor set and then let those dry. Next, I stamped and embossed in white one of the floral images from Persian Motifs. I cut out a tag using MFT's Stitched Tags and stamped the sentiment from Strictly Sentiments 5 by Wplus9. Lastly, I added a strip of patterned paper to the edge, some twine, and some sequins! That's all I have today, thanks for popping by for a visit!!

Good morning!   Jessica here with a card featuring some gorgeous Altenew products and a new (to me) technique: coloring on embossed vellum! I started off by prepping my vellum with a powder tool so that stray embossing powder wouldn't stick to the vellum.  Then I stamped the Altenew Persian Motifs on the vellum in a random pattern using Versamark ink .  I started with the larger stamps and then filled in empty spaces with the smaller stamps.  After I had filled the panel I heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder.   Then the fun part!  I turned the vellum over and colored the flowers in with blue and teal copic markers!  I used a gold metallic paint pen for the leaves but unfortunately they ended up looking more green than I had intended when I turned the vellum over.  So I took a Pentel gold gel pen and colored over the leaves on top of the vellum and it added the color and shimmer I was looking for! Next I die-cut the word 'hello' from the Half-Tone
