Dragon Adventure

Hello crafty friends! Today I'll be sharing a magical mini slimline scene that's great for any event. Using non-specific sentiments is a great way to assure your cards can be used for lots of different occasions!  I started by stamping my images and sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on 120-pound white cardstock. I colored the stamped images using Copic Markers and Chameleon Pens. Afterward, I added some white gel pen accents.  Stamps Sets Used Ahoy, Matey Little Dragon Gnome Sweet Gnome Gleeful Gardens Oh Gnome You Are Sublime To create the background, I cut out the Trinity Stamps Wonky Stitched Wilderness slimline die on 80-pound white cardstock. Then, I cut the slimline down to 7 " by 3-1/2". On another Wonky Stitched panel, I cut out two grass layers using Lawn Fawn Meadow Border dies .  Next, I inked the sky with my blending brushes.  I started inking from the middle up using Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade , leaving room for the next two colors. Then, I ble

Bubbles Shaker Cards

Hiya! Today I have 2 shaker cards to share. I used the Scripty Bubbles Sentiments set by Lawn Fawn for both cards. I white heat embossed the happy work on vellum to make the shaker window. I also white heat embossed the other bubbles on vellum. I used little dabs of Glossy Accents on the white lines to adhere them to the card. This way you can't see the glue. I colored the little mice and their bubble wands with Copic Markers.  I used the new Perfectly Plaid Remix 6x6 paper pad for both cards as well. I used the Grassy Hillside Border Dies for the grass.   I filled the shaker windows with little sequins. OH, and I added glitter bubbles using the Bubbles Stencil and Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone .  I hope you have a great day!  Nikki

Hello crafty friends! Davina here on the blog with an Easter filled slimline card featuring the new  Doodlebug  Collection  Hippity Hoppity . I’m a longtime fan of Doodlebug Designs, and don’t use them nearly as much as I want to. This cute card has the adorable bunnies racing to the egg hunt. I used the March BRI Moodboard colors as inspiration for my color choices, although I did have to add some orange for the carrot car.  I began this creating the card by stamping almost every image from  Hippity Hoppity . I also pulled out a few additional sets for additional tree shapes. I used Winter Wonderland   Forest Friends , and Pumpkin Spice  Forest Friends  for the tree as well the bees and ladybug. I colored everything up using my copic markers and color combos the match the BRI Moodboard, then cut  the images using the coordinating dies.  To build my scene I cut two paper layers (white Bristol smooth & grassy green colored cardstock)  using Lawn Fawn  Small Slimline with Left the Fl

You've Been On My Mind

Hello there! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a card I created for my Grandma's birthday! I was inspired by the March Mood Board ! Love these colors, and these images are just so FUN! For my card, I used the cutest floral images from Avery Elle : Sending Hugs and Sending Flowers ! And let me tell you, it was a struggle not to use those cute critters!! But I stuck solely with the flowers and I really like how pretty it came out! I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them all out! I popped some of the flowers up with foam tape , to add dimension!   I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some vellum ! Then I die cut the vellum strip with the Fancy Wavy Banners Die from Lawn Fawn! I sprinkled some warm yellow sequins around the envelope too! And I can't forget, for the background, I used a strip of the super awesome Dotted Washi Tape from Altenew ! Hope you play along with the BRI Mood

Birthday Picnic!

Hey crafty friends! It's  Julia  here and I want to share this cute, picnic scene birthday card with lots of cute bubbles, too! For this one,  I (again) used the super adorable  Bubbles of Joy  and also the Crazy Antics  stamp sets by Lawn Fawn!  First I stamped my images from  Bubbles of Joy ,  Crazy Antics , Happy Village , Coaster Critters and Unicorn Picnic onto Transotype Perfect Coloring paper and colored them in using  Copic Markers .   I die cut the Lawn Fawn  Stitched Hillside borders  four times as well as the  Largest Stitched Slimline rectangle  out of bristol smooth cardstock. After that I ink blended the sky in Dried Marigold , Worn Lipstick and Seedless Preserves  Distress Oxide and for the hills I used  Twisted Citron ,  Mowed Lawn  and Pine Needles .   For the sentiment I used the  Scripty Happy word die and the Happy Happy Happy stamp set. Then, I added the background to a panel of silver glitter cardstock and I added that to a black matting. After that, I ad

Let's go nuts! It's your birthday!

Hi everyone, Peggy here with some birthday card inspiration. This time featuring the Let's go nuts stamp set from Lawn Fawn's fall release 2020. This is such a fun set and as always with Lawn Fawn you can combine it with other sets to get more use out of your stash. That is what I love most about Lawn Fawn. Let me show you how I made this card! I think this turned out to be such a cute design and you could easily replace the squirrel with any other critter you have and switch up patterned papers and colors of twine. Also, I think this is a design that can be used for birthday cards for boys and men as well. I see others struggle with 'male birthday cards', whereas I never do. I just don't see why they wouldn't love a fun card like this!? I stamped the yay squirrel from the set and some of the acorns in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored with my copic markers. I cut patterned paper to fit my card base from the Knock on Wood Petite paper pad also from Lawn Faw

Look for the Rainbows with Beata

Hi friends! It's Beata June here and I'm popping by to share this fun rainbow card with you featuring Avery Elle stamps. I made this card using the new  Avery Elle Look for Rainbows stamp  ( coordinating die available here ) and Rainbows stamp set .   First, I stamped the rainbow and clouds from the  Avery Elle Rainbows stamp set  onto white cardstock using my misti stamping tool  and a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink pad  and colored it with copic markers .   Next, I stamped the bunny with umbrella from the  Avery Elle Look for Rainbows stamp .  I colored the bunny's umbrella to match the colors in my rainbow with  copic markers  and cut out my colored bunny.  Then I stamped raindrops and hearts from the  Avery Elle Rainbows stamp set  and more raindrops from the  Avery Elle Look for Rainbows stamp , colored them with  copic markers  and cut them out. After I finished coloring my images, I glued my bunny, raindrops and hearts over my rainbow with a  Lawn Fawn glue tube .  I stamp

You're One In A Chameleon

Hello! I don't know about you, but I struggle with "boy cards". So, even though there are flowers, I'd call this appropriate for a guy. :) I used the One In A Chameleon stamp set and die set by Lawn Fawn . I love the small sets because of the price point...and the obvious cuteness. :) I colored everything with my Copics. I used stitched rectangle frame dies from Lawn Fawn as well.  I hope you have a great day!  Nikki

Happy Easter Card by Sara

Hi BRI friends, Sara here! I am back with a new card, inspired by the current BRI Mood Board Challenge . Every month is a personal challenge, I usually love the color palette but when it comes to use it...I’m afraid! And this month was no exception! I loved the color combo but I didn’t know what to create. So I put out all my stamps and...I had the idea! Those colors are perfect for a spring and happy scene! When I have to come up with ideas, I usually scroll my Instagram feed (there are so many talented crafters, there is always a great inspiration out there!) and I search on Pinterest. Not necessarily to find images or illustrations, but also for color palettes. Well, I found an illustration that worked great with the stamp I wanted to use. I love this bear from Neat and Tangled , it is called “ All the bunnies ”. I’ve recently read that this company will close and I’m really sad about it. But there are a few of this still in stock!

Have a Magical Day!

Hi crafty friends!! I am SO excited to be back on the blog sharing this fun Swish 'n Pop card I made using some new and old Lawn Fawn.... I hope you like it! :)  I used the Puffy Cloud Backdrop with some Spiffy Speckles paper to create the sky background for my scene. The cutie unicorns come from the Unicorn Picnic stamp set (coordinating dies, here )!  When you pull the tab, that sweet little unicorn hides behind the cloud! I LOVE this new interactive die set from lawn fawn - it is SO fun!  I am beyond honored to be invited back as a guest on the blog today and I hope to share another card with you all soon! :)  Hugs! Sophie

Have a Magical Day!!

Hello Friends! Waleska here from craftinglovew  very happy to share with you today a magical card with a bunch of magical products available at the shop .  I hope you like my card and can be inspired by it. CARD DETAILS: To start my card I did the cloud background on a slimline base card using the MFT Cloud Stencil , I used Oxide ink Tumbled Glass for a soft cloudy look.  I then cut the Memory Box Arched Collage die in the center of my slimline card.  I cut a second rainbow from gold glitter cardstock and adhere it to the first piece only the arches that were left in the card.  For the rainbow background I inked a piece of white cardstock with oxide inks: Kitsch Flamingo , Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin , Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feathers and adhere it to the back of the die cut piece, I love all those colors blended together! Then I die cut a cloud piece to adhere to the bottom of my card and I used Tumbled Glass oxide ink again only on the border of this cloud piece.  I decided t

Hey crafty friends! It's  Julia  here and I want to share this cute, bubbly birthday card with you! For this one,  I used the super cute Bubbles of Joy and Let's Play  stamp sets by Lawn Fawn!  First I stamped my images from  Bubbles of Joy and Let's Play onto Transotype Perfect Coloring paper and colored them in using  Copic Markers .   I die cut the Lawn Fawn  Slimline  Stitched Hillside borders  twice as well as the  Largest Stitched Slimline rectangle  out of bristol smooth cardstock. After that I ink blended the sky in  Tumbled Glass  and  Peacock Feathers  Distress Oxide and  Twisted Citron  and  Mowed Lawn  onto the hills.   For the sentiment I used the Wavy Sayings . I die cut one of the Fancy Wavy Banner dies and heat embossed the "happy birthday" in white. Then, I added the background to a panel of Gotta Have Gingham paper adhered the hills on top using  liquid glue . All my cute images were added with  liquid glue  or  foam squares . Finally, to add e

Yabba Dabba Doo! with Mama Elephant stamps

Hi everyone! Peggy here with this cute Flintstones themed card with Mama Elephant  stamps. When I saw this release with the dinosaur stamps I knew I was sold. These are my first Mama Elephant stamps ever. The stamp set I used for this card is called Me and My Dinosaur. I also got the stamp set with the miniature dinosaurs to match, which I will probably use on a future card for the blog! Let me show you how I made this card. I started by cutting a card base and two panels with the Small Slimline Die from Lawn Fawn. I cut one panel out of white cardstock and one panel out of Lawn Fawn Kraft Cardstock . I trimmed down the kraft panel to make a floor for my cute little stone age images to stand on. I used a Ranger ink blending tool and some Tea Dye distress ink to make the panel look more like sand and to give it some interest. On the white panel I ink blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide using the Lawn Fawn Cloudy Stencil. I stamped my images with some Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink a

"Yippee!" Vertical Slimline Rainbow Card by Beata

Hello crafty friends! Beata June here, and I'm back on the blog today sharing this vertical slimline rainbow card. 🌈 🌈 I used the new Mama Elephant Little Signage Agenda stamp set  ( coordinating die available here ) to stamp out the cute critters holding the letters, colored them with copic markers.  I stamped on the letters from the Little Signage Agenda stamp set onto my colored critters to spell out the "YIPPEE!" and added white highlights using a white glaze jelly roll pen , then cut out the critters.   To make my background, I cut a rectangle card panel from white cardstock using the smallest rectangle die from the Pinkfresh Studio Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles dies set .  I blended a rainbow of clouds on the rectangle card panel using a My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil  and Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes  with the following distress oxide ink pads:  squeezed lemonade, shaded lilac , worn lipstick, cracked pistachio , and tumbled glass .

Happy Birthday Bugs Card

Hiya! For this card, I had the idea to make the bugs the only colorful thing in their little world. I used the A Bug Deal stamp set and Die set by Lawn Fawn.  The tiny perfect clouds are from the All The Clouds set. That set is a total must have in my opinion. ALWAYS the perfect size clouds available for any project. :) I colored them all with my Copics. I used the Stitched Circle Stackable s and the Mushroom Border Dies for the grass.  Hope you have a great day! Sneak in some shopping. ;) Nikki

Sending Hugs

Hello, Friends! It's Kelly Martin here, and I'm so glad you stopped by the blog today to spend a little time with me! I've really been into die-cutting lately. When I first started into the world of card-making, I was pretty much just using coordinating dies for stamped images and not really looking at stand-alone die sets very much. But so many of our favorite companies have released some really great stand-alone die sets, and I started to really love die-cut only cards. If you enjoy puzzles and putting things together, then die-cut cards are for you! All the dies I used in today's card are from Lawn Fawn. I used the Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On Die , a picket fence die , and the Quilted Backdrop background die .  I just used a piece of gray-colored cardstock I had in my scrap stash to make that background and adhered it to a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base - nothing fancy! In regards to techniques I used to create this card, there aren't any! Isn't t
