Clean & Simple Christmas card MFT Stamps

Hi everyone!! Here Laura, today I show you this christmas card made with the clear stamps " Reindeer games " of MFT Stamps. I love Christmas and I couldn't resist this cute and adorable stamp! You can find it in the Butterflyreflectionink store 😉 This time I wanted to use the "Clean and Simple" style to give all the prominence to the clear stamp. 😊 I first stamped the girl with Archival ink black and then painted with Copic markers. The details are made with Micronpigma and gel white pen !  For the background I used the " Wonky Stitched rectangle " and the " Merry Christmas Circle Frame " both of MFT Stamps . To finish, I used a Christmas patterned paper . I hope you like it! Remember that you can find all these products and many more in the Butterflyreflectionink store !!  Thanks for your attention and see you next week with another post!

Floating By To Say... Card

Hello Crafty Friends, Stephanie here today sharing a new slimline card! I used one of Lawn Fawn's cute new stamp sets, You Autumn Know .  I started by cutting Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes and Knock On Wood with the different sized Scalloped Slimline  and Large Slimlines  dies. I then cut the layered circles with the Scalloped Circle Gift Tag  using white cardstock and Fall Fling patterned paper.  I stamped the cute little mice and leaves with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink   and colored them in with Copic markers. I then glued the colored images to the layered circles being sure to cover the tag holes. I used the Fancy Wavy Banner dies to cut the banners and Jet Black ink to stamp the sentiment. I like to emboss my sentiments with Ranger Clear Embossing when I ink with Distress Oxides so that they look crisp. I used Scattered Straw Distress Oxide. I added in the banners between the layered circles. I popped up the layered circles and banners with foam tape.  Thanks so much for joinin

Cozy Bear Scene Changing Card

Hi crafty friends! I have a confession: I am a patterned paper hoarder. I have paper from a decade ago that I still haven't used up because I think they are too pretty or too cute to use. Or I had a project I bought the papers for and I have long since abandoned the project. So I was super excited and super proud of myself for using some of my patterned paper in today's card! And I love scene changing type of cards so this card was a double win for me!  For today's card, I used multiple stamp sets to create this cozy scene. I stamped out images from several Lawn Fawn sets ( Den Sweet Den , Purrfectly Wicked , Window Scene: Winter , and Car Critters ). For the flowers in the vase, I used an image from The Cat's Meow by Mama Elephant and extended the stem with a black pen. To create the picture frame, I masked off the words and string from the frame in Den Sweet Den and stamped the little bear from Car Critters. For the couch and pillows, I stamped the images directly on

The Cutest Ornaments Ever!

Howdy all, Kelly here. For this card I used two different companies products. I used Sunny Studios "Deck The Halls" Stamp/die set (which has TEN adorable ornaments included) and I used the Pine Branch from PinkFresh Studio "Holiday Ornaments" set.  To start off I stamped my ornaments onto 110lb Neenah cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black and then colored them in with copics. No fancy coloring.  Then I ink blended the branch onto the same cardstock with Hero Arts Moss Ink. Then I used the coordinating die to die cut it.  I trimmed my card panel down to 4"x 5.25". I splattered some black ink on it & heat set to dry. Then I used some holiday washi along the edges. Once done I stamped my Sentiment with Versafine Onyx and I used Hero Arts Ultra Fine clear Embossing powder on top to emboss it.  I added silver thread through the ornament holes and added foam tape to them as well as the pine branch.  I made sure my silver thread was

Camping Critters Card!

Hi there everyone!  Linda  here today with a fun new slimline card! I used the amazing  Camping Critters  stamp set from Avery Elle for this card. This fun set has so many gorgeous images, that I thought it would be fun to portray them on a slimline card. I started with creating a slimline card base from white cardstock. I then added a front panel to this card, for which I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a stitched slimline rectangle die. I started creating a fun camping background on this panel by blending different parts with ink.  I used  Chipped Sapphire ,  Blueprint Sketch ,  Peacock Feathers ,  Squeezed Lemonade ,  Mowed Lawn ,  Peeled Paint  and  Antique Linen  Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added loads of splatters to the sky. I used the Grassy Hills slimline Die-namics for the grass part and the  Slimline Snow Drifts  Die-namics for the grassy hill from MFT Stamps. I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the images with Copic Markers before adding them on to my

Fall Friendship Card b y Sara Zoppi

Hi BRI friends, Sara here! I am back with a new card, inspired by the September BRI Mood Board Challenge . This color palette is incredible and it is perfect for fall cards. I love the warm tones, I love all of them together! And this is my inspiration! I’ve recently bought some Pretty Pink Posh stamps and dies and this was the perfect occasion to use them. I look in my stash and I found this Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set : I instantly thought to use the palette to color all the pumpkins. I stamped all of the images on a piece of copic friendly paper using Memento TuxedoBlack ink . The little fox belongs to the Winter Woodland stamp set while the greenery is from the AutumnWreath one . I colored everything with copic and at the end I fussy cut all of them since I hadn’t coordinating dies. I then started working on the background. On a piece of watercolor paper , I ink blended Distress Oxides in W

Thank you Friend Card

Hello Crafty Friends, Stephanie here again! Today I'm sharing a card I made using Honey Bee Stamps . I started by cutting white cardstock to a little larger than A2 size, I wanted to make sure the pickup fit comfortably. Then I created the background by making a sunset and a dirt road. I used Distress Oxide colors: Seedless Preserves , Abandoned Coral and Scattered Straw for the sunset sky. For the dirt road I used Mowed Lawn , Twisted Citron and Gathered Twigs . I added some splatters to the whole background.  I used the new Honey Bee Stamp set  Loads of Fall  with the  Big Pickup Tailgate   I love using the Big Pickup Tailgate and Big Pickup Cab sets to make cards for the men in my family. It works out great since they're all gear heads! I just had to pop the dog in the pickup because he's just so cute! I colored the pickup with Copics - G82, YG63, C2, C5 and C7. I then added the Thank You stamp from the Friend Stamp Set  and the coordinating Friend diecut . I love t

Rain or shine Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone!! Here Laura, today I show you this card made with the clear Stamps " Rain or shine " of Hello Bluebird . Around here these days it has rained a lot so I prepared this card full of color!!  I first stamped the animals with Archival ink black and then painted them with Copic markers. The details are made with Micronpigma and gel white pen!  😉 For the background I used the " Partly cloudy die " of Hello Bluebird but I removed the structure (which I used on another card😃) and I kept the clouds, which I colored with the distress oxide inks .  To finish, I placed some raised raindrops and the sentiment is made with a Lawn Fawn paper. I hope you like it! Remember that you can find all these products and many more in the Butterflyreflectionink store !!  Thanks for your attention and see you next week with another post!

Sweet Bitty Bears Fall Card

Hi crafty friends! I am so excited to share this card for a sweet friend made with the cutest squishy  bitty bears from MFT !  I colored the bears with Copic markers (listed below) and I had to give a nod to Harry Potter with that Gryffindor scarf! After cutting the bears out with the coordinating dies , I stamped out the trees from MFT's Modern Trees with Lawn Fawn inks ( artichoke , cilantro , pumpkin spice , chili pepper , sunflower , and walnut ) and cut out the trees with coordinating dies . I cut out grass pieces using landscape dies from Mama Elephant , ink blended them with Distress Inks (crushed olive and mowed lawn), and splattered with mowed lawn Distress Ink. I created an autumnal sky with Distress inks (scattered straw, spiced marmalade, abandoned coral) and splattered carved pumpkin Distress Ink onto the sky. You can definitely achieve the same effect using Distress Oxide Inks as well. I stamped out the sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink  (my favorite ink for s

Christmas Huggy Bears!

Can I start off by saying how cute these bears are? Kelly here and for todays card Im using Sunny Studios Bear Hugs.   I started off stamping the bears then masking them, then I stamped the ice. I just freehand cut a mask to separate the water and the Background straight across and I used a watercolor wash stencil for the outer framed area.  I ink blended Distress inks in Blueprint sketch, wilted violet & Black Soot for the top. The bottom (water) I used Stormy Sky and Hickory Smoke. I grabbed a post it and used that to blend on top to get some rippled type effects.  Once all my blending was done I removed my masks from the bears and the ice. I colored them with Copics . Im not the best at coloring so I just added some simple coloring.  I stamped and die cut my sentiments and added cardstock underneath for dimension.  I used my trusty white gel pen to my bears fur and for specs in the sky. I also added a glitter pen for stars and ripples in the water and s

Singing in the Rain Card!

Hi there crafters! Linda here today with a fun new card! Today I'm sharing an adorable one layer card, created with the amazing  Singing in the Rain  stamp set from Hello Bluebird Stamps! I started this card with a white card base that I created from white cardstock in A2 size. I then added a front panel to my card, for which I diecutted white cardstock with a stitched rectangle die. Because I wanted this card to be just a one layer card, I started stamping my images first. To get depth into my card, I stamp the images I'd like to be up front first and then mask them with masking paper. I then stamped a cloud an a duck, which then will fall right behind my first stamped images. I also masked these, so I could start blending. I used  Chipped Sapphire ,  Blueprint Sketch ,  Mermaid Lagoon  and  Tumbled Glass  Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added loads of splatters and after removing my masking paper, I coloured the images with Copic Markers. To finish the card with, I stamped

Pinkfresh Studio Flowers Card with the BRI Moodboard

Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with a card inspired by the BRI September Moodboard!  I just love these colors! As soon as I saw them, I knew they'd be perfect for a flower card.  To make this slimline card I used Pinkfresh Studio's beautiful Miss Your Smile stamp set. That big flower is just so pretty! I stamped it with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and then heat embossed it with Ranger's Clear Embossing Powder so that the ink would look bold and not smear. After that, I used the coordinating Miss Your Smile Layering Stencils . I've never used layering stencils before but they were so easy to use. I'll definitely be using them again! I used Distress Oxides in abandoned coral , worn lipstick , and cracked pistachio to ink the flower and leaves.  I heat embossed the sentiment with Ranger's white embossing powder  on black cardstock. I topped it off with some metallic watercolor  and sequins. Thanks so much for checking out my card and don't forget to stop by

Nutty Squirrels Fall Card

Hi crafty friends! I'm back with a nutty card for a nutty friend! (And I mean nutty in a good way!) I love these cute, happy squirrels from Let's Go Nuts by Lawn Fawn . And even though I don't get to experience the beautiful fall colors where I live, I love colorful fall leaves... At least I can stamp and color fall leaves for this card! I stamped out the images from Let's Go Nuts and the tree branch from Jump for Joy . I used Copic markers (listed below) to color and then I cut out the images with the coordinating dies .  To create the background, I used speckled egg Distress Ink and the Lawn Fawn cloudy stencil to create subtle clouds. I also splattered more speckled egg ink. For the grass, I used the MFT grassy fields die to cut out some grass and added color using Distress Inks (fossilized amber, crushed olive, mowed lawn). The frame was cut from several layers of cardstock using the Backdrop from Lawn Fawn . The top frame was cut from Lawn Fawn Knit Picky patte

Unbe-LEAF-ably Easy Autumn Cards🍁

Hi Guys, Kelly here, my 2nd blog post and its my birthday! whoo hoo! For todays blog post I'm using Honey Bees Lovely Layers Maple Leaf Die . This die set is AMAZING & makes creating leaves so easy! This die set was a gift to myself, lol :)  To start off I grabbed some Alcohol ink panels that had "Autumn Colors" and I used the shadow die and die cut it. Then I grabbed some white & Gold cardstock and die cut the top layer (2 white & 1 gold). I glued them all together. I added a gold bow on top of the stem base.amd glued it onto my base panel which was added to 110lb Kraft Cardstock. I made a few cards with slight variations (Background, sentiments & embellishments) The one above (sentiment) is Altenew Label Love & the Background is Memory Box Pinpoint leaf die. I didn't add anything extra (embellishments) but I did on the others.  What's great about this die from Honey Bee is you can use anything as your shadow layer.
