You Make My Heart Soar

Hello, Everyone! It's Allison here, and I'm excited to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink. blog. Today, I am sharing a card featuring a few adorable stamps from Sunny Studio's latest release. All supplies that I used can be found in the BRI  online shop . I have recently been spending a lot of time cleaning and organizing my craft room. This is starting to become a habit every year after the holidays! One of the good things about cleaning is that you run across things you may have forgotten about. I have tons of backgrounds that I have made and stashed away in various places, and I'm trying to start making use of them. This particular background really caught my eye because the colors reminded me of this month's mood board challenge. So, I knew it was the perfect time to put it to use. If you haven't already seen the January Mood Board, it's another gorgeous one. There is still plenty of time left in the month to play along. Just tag your creations

Scent with Love BRI Moodboard inspiration

Hello crafty friends! Davina here, with some January BRI Moodboard color inspiration. Today I’m sharing a shaker card that combines several newer, and older, sets by Lawn Fawn. I’ve been making many more shaker cards than I ever have before, and each has been a different kind/style. I really love the flat mesh ones that I’ve shared, but today, I kept it classic. The colors in this months Moodboard are spun sugar, mauve, butterscotch, and marine blue. I incorporated these colors by creating a skunk filled scene with lots of Valentine’s Day images. I started by making my snow globe shaker. The new dies are huge, so I dig deep into my stash, and found my  Ready Set Snow  stamps and dies from years ago. It was the perfect size for a little mail man skunk and some goodies. I stamped out images from  Scent with Love  ,  Scent with Love Add on  and last years  Special Delivery sets, then colored everything up before die cutting with the coordinating dies.  I inkblended the background piece of

My Flamazing Friend

Hello and happy new year! Samantha here, and today I'm happy to share a card inspired by the brand new, gorgeous Butterfly Reflections Ink mood board ! I hope you love it as much as I do, and if so, play along! All of the details can be found by clicking here ! I love the colors, and wintery, nostalgic feeling of it! Which is super ironic...given that my card isn't nostalgic...or wintery! ha! I do still love it though!I used the cute, adorable images from Paperie Inks Fla La La Mingo stamp set ! Love those cute little mingos! Lol! I colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and fussy cut them out! I used Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire , Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon to ink blend onto some white cardstock. Then I used the Newton's Nook Tropical Leaves Stencil and the same colors (but with more pressure!) to add the subtle, tone on tone stencil effect! Once the background was ready, I used some gold Perfect Pearls and water to add the gold splatte

January 2022 Mood Board

Hello there! Amanda here today to share this month's mood board. Can you believe another year has passed? I know last year was another hard one for a lot of us, here's to hoping 2022 sees some positive changes! I often go in to the January mood board thinking soft and airy, basically wintry but a fresh start to the year. I started down that same path this year but ended up with something a little more cozy winter cabin. And I love it! I'm really digging the mauve and butterscotch combo. It's a little fall-ish but works so well for winter too. Also, who else is thinking a solo vacation in that little yellow cabin sounds perfect right about now!??  Spun Sugar, Mauve, Butterscotch and Marine Blue Image Sources: Pinterest I can't wait to see all of your creations!
