Hi crafty friends! Ahhh, it's that time of year again-- the smell of new crayons, the feel of a freshly sharpened Dixon Ticonderoga pencil gliding across wide ruled paper, and the morning rush to get out the door on time... it's back to school time! I made this pop up box card to celebrate this glorious time of year using several Mama Elephant stamp sets and the Lawn Fawn box card pop up die. I colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I tried to turn the bear image into a panda because pandas are a favorite animal here in my home. For one of the side panels, I thought it would be fun to cut out one panel from actual lined notebook paper for the cat with the pencil and then I wrote on it with a pencil. To create the background, I cut out a box panel from gray cardstock and used a brick stencil with Distress Oxide ink. For the floors, I used a woodgrain stamp with Versamark ink on kraft cardstock.
