Happy Birthday Kitties Card

Hi crafty friends! It's Tina here from The Scrappin Rabbit blog sharing a card featuring some new and older products from the shop! The links to the products I used are below. I just love the new Lawn Fawn Giant Happy Birthday Die and I combined it with some adorable stamps from Mama Elephant. First I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Woodgrain Back drop die with some white cardstock. Next I cut out the cardstock using the Giant Happy Birthday To You Die. I stamped, embossed and colored up these adorable images from the My Pet Kitties stamps using Copic Markers. I fussy cut them out but you can use the coordinating dies which are available in the shop! To create the ink blended background I used Distress Oxide inks in Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina with the Newtons Nook Designs Cloud Stencil. For the grass I used Bundled Sage and Shabby Shutters. For a finishing touch I added some blue gems.  Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will visit the shop and check out all the amazing

Summer card with Annemarijn

Hi crafty friends! I'm back on the blog with a summer card. The weather in the Netherlands is rainy and not very warm so I needed a little bit of sunshine. Let me show you how I made this card and what I used.  I used the don't worry be happy stamp set from paperie ink. I immediately fell in love with these cute critters in there swimming rings so had to have this set. First I stamped all the images and colored them with my copic markers . Next I cut them with my cutter bee scissors . This is my favorite scissors for fussy cutting. I really love fussy cutting I think it's really relaxing to do.  Next I die cut the peekaboo backdrop , I cut the background and the water from the watercolor wishes rainbow paper pad . This is such a versatile paper pad I really like to use it for my cards. The waves I made with the stitched simple wavy borders .  Next I adhered everything together with foam squares and I added some sequins for a little bit of extra detail. The sentiments I s

Message in the sky with Peter

Hi everyone! I'm back to show you a fun and simple thank you card. I wanted to make a really simple and fun card. I looked through my dies and came across the Partly Cloudy Die from Hello Bluebird. I decided on only using the clouds that the die cuts. I took my Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables set to cut the largest rectangle out of watercolor paper. With the Cloudy Stencil from Lawn Fawn I made a cloudy background with Distress Oxide . I used Tumbled Glass as a base and I used Salvaged Patina to make the actual clouds. With that is was time to adhere the clouds in place. I first did the ones that have a cut off side and I but them around the place they are in in the die. Out of green cardstock I cut the Scripty Thanks from Lawn Fawn and with Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness I added a little color on the bottom so it becomes a gradient. I used the Plane and Simple stamp set from Lawn Fawn to add a cute plane on the bottom with an additional sentiment in the banner: '

Oh Snap!

Hello crafty friends, it's Veronica here! Yesterday was my birthday, so here it is a funny birthday card 🥳  To create my card I first stamped some images on a piece of Transotype paper. This super funny crocodile is by Avery Elle, while the other festive elements of the scene are by My Favorite Things. As always, I colored everything with my Copic Ciao markers and fussy cut it.  For the backround, I trimmed a piece of Neenah Solar white paper and ink blended some Distress Oxide in Squeezed Lemonade and Antique Linen . I also added a lilac frame by Lawn Fawn. To finish off my card, I assembled everything with some foam on a piece of lilac card stock and added some clear sequins . The sentiment is from the same Avery Elle stamp set and it is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on some Mama Elephant speech bubbles die cuts. I really hope you like it and see you next time! From Italy with love, Veronica

Have a sweet day with Leontine

Hello! Today I thought I'd make a card with some older and some newer sets from Lawn Fawn. It’s perfect for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 105: Fun with food. Here's how I made it. First I cut a piece of Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper (Amethyst) with the Simple Stripes: Diagonal die. I glued those strips onto a card base of 5,5" x 4,25". Next I cut some foliage with a piece of  Emerald from the Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper . I used leaves from Tropical Leaves and Happy Hibiscus . I figured out the placement of each leaf before I used liquid glue to adhere them to the background. I die cut the ice cream parts from Vanilla Malt cardstock and white cardstock. I used pieces from I Scream, You Scream and Stitched Cupcake . To keep the sprinkles in place, I carefully turned the die cut cardstock over and put some painters tape on the back. That way I could color them with my copic sketch makers: BG23, RV23, Y13 and BV02. After coloring the sprinkles I p

July Mood Board inspiration with Jane

Hi Friends!  I'm so happy to share this Birthday card featuring colors inspirited by the July mood board (see below).   To create this card, I first ink blended the background on Bristol paper using the following distress oxide inks (top to bottom): mustard seed, dried marigold , abandoned coral , seedless preserves and dusty concord .  Then, I splatted the background using water and a thin paint brush.   The background was then cut using the scallop stackables die set to create a fun pattern on the edges of the paper.   Next, I stamped and colored the images using copic markers from the following Lawn Fawn stamp sets: Ocean shell-fie , fintastic friends , mermaid for you , you are sublime , keep on swimming and so jelly .   After the images were cut using the coordinating dies, I adhered them using foam tape, thin foam squares and liquid glue to the card front.   Next, I cut the scripty "birthday " and scripty "wishes " die using white cardstock.  The &quo
