Oh Gnome

Hello crafty friends and happy Saturday!  I hope you all have fun things planned for the weekend ahead.  This is Crystal Komara here, one of the "old," though I much prefer the term original ; ) DT members for Butterfly Reflections, Ink!   I'm always happy to come back and share with you what I'm creating.

Today I have a slimline card featuring all of the fun Oh Gnome characters from Lawn Fawn.  I know, I know, it's not part of the super cool new Lawn Fawn release, but I have been working really hard at using some of the many, many stamps that I own that haven't been used and this set is one of them.  Plus, it's always great to see some of the old things become new again!  This Lawn Fawn Mushroom House is still one of my favorites.  I've been dying to make a Smurf themed card using this fun die set too!!

Card Details:

This base of this slimline card (8 1/2" x 3 1/2") was made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. This is my go-to white cardstock for e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g!  I created the background by cutting a piece of Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes cardstock.  I die cut the mushroom house from white cardstock, Textured Canvas and Ripe Raspberry cardstock. I assembled the mushroom house and adhered it to the center of the card.  I cut some of the grass pieces also uses the Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes cardstock using the Grass Border Honey Cuts by Honey Bee Stamps.  I stamped all of the images on white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I colored the images with Copic markers and added highlights to each image using a white gelly roll pen.  I adhered all the images to the card using 3M foam adhesive for added height.  Lastly, I added a coat of clear Wink of Stella to all the images for sparkle.

Here is the Oh Gnome stamp set and coordinating Oh Gnome Lawn Cuts from Lawn Fawn (available through Butterfly Reflections, Ink):

The Lawn Fawn Mushroom House really completes this card:

I hope you have enjoyed this slimline card!  You can always follow me for more creativity on my Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and blog
