Hello, Rubeena here with two simple cards for you. I used some of the latest releases from Avery Elle and My Favorite things. I took MFT's Lace Background Stamp, stamped it on white cardstock with VersaMark ink, and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I die-cut a rectangle size from it, smaller than A2 and then die-cut the center with MFT's Die-namics Pierced Fancy Flourish. I die-cut Avery Elle's Simply Said Amazing Elle-ments Die three times from pink cardstock and once from black cardstock. I glued them together using Glossy Accents. The first card was simple to put together: I glued down the fancy flourish die-cut in the center. I scored a frame around it with my scoring board. Then I added the 'Amazing' die-cut over it. I finished it off with black enamel dots.
I added some pearl dots to the card because I've always thought lace and pearls went well together! Hope you enjoyed my posts for Butterfly Reflections Ink the past three months. It's been such a pleasure sharing with you. Thanks so much for all the comments and love!
Here's a closer look at the depth of it. I think these colors create a beautiful contrast.
For my next card, I die-cut the fancy flourish with pink cardstock and placed it where I removed the other piece. I taped it all down the center of my card base. I stamped the sentiment from WPlus9's Party Animal Stamp with VersaMark on black cardstock and heat embossed it in white embossing powder. I added it near the bottom with foam tape for dimension.
I used a dark pink marker on vellum and color a large area. I stamped the butterfly from Altenew's Ori Kami Stamp with VersaMark and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I folded the wings and glued it down on the card near the fancy flourish.
