Hey folks!
I'm back today to share a super sweet and simple card with you all! This is my last post for the current Butterfly Reflections, Ink Design Team. It has truly been an honor being a part of this amazing company and team these last few months peeps!
For my card today, I used the Winnie & Walter So Tweet Stamp Set. These lil birds are so stinkin cute, I can't even stand it!
I kept these guys pretty simple. I stamped the, with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them in with Copic's. If I were to do this card again, I would stamp them in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat emboss them with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. I think the lil bit of extra texture and dimension on the finished card would be groovy.
I chose to color the ground in with Copic's as well, but I wanted to give the sky behind my lil chicks a more softer look, so I masked them off with Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper, then using a Ranger Ink Mini Blending Tool, I lightly blended some My Favorite Things Blue Yonder Ink on to the panel.
I used one of the My Favorite Things Inside & Out Stitched Square Dies to cut down my panel, then I used the next size larger in the set to also die cut a piece of My Favorite Things Translucent Vellum.
Before I adhered the panel and the vellum to my card base, I used the same Copic colors that I used for the grass and the Blue Yonder Ink and colored in the panel.
To finish off my card, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the beaks, a few Lucy's Cards Sequins from the Jack Frost Sequin Shaker Mix and I stamped the sentiment from the Stamp Set with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink again.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed my card today! As usual, don't forget to stop back by tomorrow to see more crafty fabulousness and head on over to the BRI Shop to get the goods. ALSO the new Design Team will be coming soon, so be sure to check them out because they will be Ah-mazing!
Until next time!
