Hi Everyone!
It's Karin from PeppermintPatty's Papercraft, here to share some inspiration. For today's card I've played with a wonderful new stencil from Hero Arts called Large Flower Stencil.
I placed my stencil on a piece of off white cardstock and held it in pålacewith some washi tape. I started by inking the yellow and Brown part of the flower first - then I created a mask for that part of the stencil (the flower) from masking paper - so I didn't mess my yellow flower when I inked the green leaves.
When I was done with that I let my panel dry completely before I cut out a stitched rectangle from it. I saved the leftover and adhered that outer frame to my cardbase. I then added the stitched rectangle panelinside the "frame" with foam adhesive to get a bit of dimension.
Last I diecut my "You" and adhered it to the card with glue tape.
Supplies:
Stencil: Hero Arts; Large Flower Stencil
Dies: Hero Arts: Thank You die (mine is an older version)
My Favorite Things: Stitched Rectangle
Ink: Tuxedo Black ink
Rangers Distress Ink Scattered straw, Spiced Marmalde, Peeled paint, Walnut stain, Vintage Photo, Mustard seed.
Tools: x-press blending card
Blending tool
Stamping mask paper
Adhesives: Foam Adhesive
Dot Gluetape
Glossy Accent
Pop over to the store to find the products I've used for this card and other awesome stuff; Butterfly Reflections Ink
