Hello! Rebekah here with my first post to the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog!
I live in Western Pennsylvania and we have been blessed with a mild winter so far. Although, I am sure cold winds and lots of snow are just around the corner. I created this card with that in mind.
The image on this card is by Little Darlings called Winter-Cuppa. I just love it! Not only is that little girl and polar bear absolutely adorable but the image is huge! It just about fills up an entire A2 card. I used Stitched Cloud Edge Dies above the image which I think adds a nice decorative touch.
I used Blueprints 29 by My Favorite Things and Blueprints 25 also by My Favorite Things to create the layered mats on this card. These die sets are by far my most used items in my crafting stash! I use them on almost every card.
But of course I could not leave it at that! I also used the Flicker Heart to add even more detail behind the image, which is colored with copic markers, by the way. The die is long rather then wide so I had to re position the die and run it threw my die cutter about 4 times in order to cover the entire blue piece of cardstock.
For the sentiment I used Paper Smooches Warm Wishes Die. I die cut white craft foam and mounted the card stock to it using Multi Matte Medium and then curved it around the polar bear. I was surprised how easy it was to curve this otherwise straight sentiment!
I also had to add Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White to the snowflakes! Love the added detail and slight shine they add to this card!
I am thrilled to be part of this team and even more thrilled to get the chance to show all of you the products available here at Butterfly Reflections Ink!
I post to My Instagram Account a number of times a week and sometimes even a number of times a day! I also have blog and have started making a video every now and then! You can check that out here - Confessions of an Over-Inker. I have a haul video up now that has all the products I will be working with this month from Butterfly Reflections Ink. I would love to get to know all of you a little better so please drop by and say hi!!
Hugs,
Rebekah
