Hey friends! Christy here. As a mom of three boys, I don't often give in to the impulse to buy ultra-girly images, but this Once Upon A Time set by My Favorite Things was simply too cute to resist! Sweet princesses, adorable unicorns,... this set is just so playful, I swear it'll make you feel young again just inking it up!
I colored my images with Copics and die cut them with the matching dies, then set my scene using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Stackables as my focal panel, the Lawn Fawn Simple Stitched Hillside Borders to create my grass, and added one of the clouds from MFT's Cloud 9 to my sky.
The gorgeous Posh 6x6 paper pad by Simple Stories served as inspiration for my color palette, and I just had to use as many of the beautiful patterns as possible on my card. I die cut the pink confetti print with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Borders and used the Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Circle Stackables to frame my focal panel. My sentiment was stamped with Lawn Fawn Noble Fir ink, then the whole panel was popped up with foam tape.
And I just had to add a little Stickles here and there, because what's a magical princess birthday card without a little glitter? Am I right?
I also included some fun stamping on the inside with an additional image and sentiment in the Lawn Fawn Mermaid Ink, and you can check that out in the video below. I also created an additional card which you can find on my blog. Have an awesome day!
