Hey friends, Christy here with an extra fun interactive card -- a flop card! This was my first attempt at one, but I will definitely be making more of these babies in the future! I just can't stop playing with it!
These Sweet Forest Friends by MFT were clamoring to be inked up, so I chose them to be the today's stars. I colored up practically every image included in the set with Copic markers, then set them aside. For my card base, I first adhered some patterned paper from the Shimelle Little By Little 6x6, then to create my "flop" panel I used the MFT Flop Card Rectangle Die-namics. To finish off the scene I added a couple of MFT Cloud 9 dies, as well as some Lawn Fawn Grassy Borders to both the front and inside panels. The trick of this card is to make sure to assemble your scene so that there's a surprise when you open it up. So I placed my tree and critters to the far left on the inside. Then I let a cloud, butterfly and flower be visible on the right, so even when the card is closed, you get a sneak peek of what might be inside. So fun! My sentiments were stamped in Lawn Fawn Noble Fir ink.
To really see this card in action, check out the video below. You can click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right corner if you'd like to watch it over there in HD and of course, I would love for you to subscribe! I hope have as much fun watching as I did making it! Have an awesome day!
