Hello everyone and happy Tuesday to you!
This is Tanya from Studio 5380 and I have a cute graduation card to share with you today. This fun, shaker card is for my grandson, Brayden, who is about to graduate from Kindergarten....
I used some fun Lawn Fawn products to create this card for my smart little cookie. The adorable images are from the Smart Cookie Stamp Set. After stamping and coloring the images, I used the Smart Cookie Lawn Cuts dies to cut them out. I also used the Scripty Congrats Lawn Cuts die to cut out the word "congrats". I cut out the sentiment three times and layered them together using some Multi Medium Matte Adhesive.
To add a little sparkle, I covered the word "congrats" with some Frosted Lace Stickles. I also added a bit of Glossy Accents to the glasses on my cute little cookie.
While the Stickles and Glossy Accents were drying, I started working on my shaker frame. Using the Die-namics Stitched Dome Frames die set by My Favorite Things, I cut out 3 frames from dark brown cardstock. I glued those layers and a layer of acetate together using more Multi Medium Matte Adhesive. Once it was dry, I flipped my frame over added some sequins. I chose a few sequins in pretty blues and white from the Ocean Waves Sequin Mix and the Nature Sequins Mix by Neat and Tangled.
Once all of my card elements were completed, I put my card base together using a dark brown base followed by a bright blue layer. The top layer is from the Graphic Grid Paper Pad by My Favorite Things. To finish my card I popped up my images with some Scotch Foam Mounting Tape and there you go...congrats to my Smart Cookie!
Thanks so much for stopping by today - see you soon!
