Hello, again! It's Andrea back with you to share a cute CAS Christmas card (Say that three times fast!). When I saw Reverse Confetti's Christmas Bear stamp set, I HAD to have it! I absolutely love Christmas, and I love bears, so put them together and - BAM! - I'm all in! (Yeah, breaking out a little Emeril today, peeps.)
This card came together super quickly, yet still turned out so adorable. (Talk about win, win!) I stamped the bear and tree from Christmas Bear with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics. Naturally, I had to add some details with my white gel pen, and I also added some sparkle with a glitter gel pen.
Eek! That bear is so darn cute, especially with that shiny nose (compliments of Glossy Accents). To create my background, I ink-blended Peacock Feathers Distress Ink over MFT Stamps' Geometric Grid Stencil. I love the subtle interest a stencil and some ink give!
I trimmed down my background panel and popped a strip of silver glitter cardstock behind it. Onto black cardstock, I stamped a sentiment from Christmas Bear with Versamark and heat-embossed it in white. I used the sentiment strip to "ground" my images, so they're not floating in space. To finish the card, I scattered on a few clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great week!
MAwwww this is darling!! What a gorgeous image with great colouring - love the pop of sparkly silver down the side ! Jenny x
