I hope you all had a great Great St. Patrick's day last week. Easter Day is around the corner. I made this card today so I could prepare it early and avoid doing it at the last minute. I am so in love with these Bunnies and flower elements from Pretty Pink Posh Bunny Friends stamp set. I die cut them with coordinating dies and colored with Copic Markers couple weeks ago. I did A LOT. I meant I probably colored at least 30+ bunnies and 100+ flowers and foliage. Call me crazy. But it is so handy to make a card whenever I want to with free of stress.
Now let us turn the topic into making this card. To prepare the background, I used a medium flat head brush applying Distress Oxide in Picked Raspberry mixed with water, and applied on a piece Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper. I kept moving around the water and add more color so I could build a little bit color gradient. I dried them with my Heat tool and splattered some leftover paint over the background.
I cut "Happy Easter" sentiment out of Pretty Pink Posh Happy Easter Script Die 3 times out of Neenah Solar white 110 lbs card stock paper, then glue them together with Multi Medium Matte to create dimension. I ink blended on the die cut using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Squeezed Lemonade and Cracked Pistachio.
It is time to assemble everything. I still used Multi Medium matte as my adhesive agent because it dries clear and matte. I popped some images up with Foam tape to build some depth of field so everything is not just flat and boring. At last, I arranged some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels in Pink Plush to coordinate the whole scene.
