Hi Crafty Friends, Julianne here sharing some fun birthday cards featuring the Hello Bluebird Party Parade Stamp Set. I needed to create some birthday cards to have on hand, I thought these would be super cute to give to a friend.
These cards ended up taking me a lot longer than I thought, because there was a lot of coloring involved but I love them so it was worth it. I started out by laying out all the images and stamping them with my MISTI. When doing a card like this I like to make multiple so that way I end up with a bunch of cards instead of just one. I then started down the long road of coloring :) choosing certain color themes such as pink & purple, blue & green. I find it easiest to color one image at a time on all of the backgrounds and then moving on to the next image.
Once I had all the coloring done I used the Waffle Flowers A2 Nesting Rectangle Dies to cut down my backgrounds. Using a variety of sentiment dies that I had I die cut my sentiments from various colors of cardstock; Hello Bluebird Happy Birthday Words Dies, MFT Die-namics Celebrate and the MFT die-namics Double the Smiles.
To add dimension to each card I cut the sentiments out of card stock multiple times and adhered together with liquid adhesive. To add some additional sentiments I used the MFT Yay for You Stamp Set. To finish off each card I scattered some clear sequins all over.
Thank you for stopping by. I can't wait to see what you all create, Happy Crafting!
