Candice with you today and I have a super sweet pastel Halloween scene for you using my favorite haunted houses from Lawn Fawn!
All the products I used from Butterfly Reflections, Ink are:
- Lawn Fawn Spooky Village stamp set
- Lawn Fawn Spooky Village coordinating dies
Lawn Fawn Oh Gnome! stamp set (speech bubbles)- Sunny Studio Woodland Borders dies (stitched hills)
- Lawn Fawn jet black ink
- white embossing powder
- oxide inks: milled lavender & shaded lilac
- copic markers
I began my card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 base which fits perfectly into the size 9A envelopes.
To create the background, I inked the sky with shaded lilac & milled lavender and layered hills & grass die cut from thick white cardstock.
Next, I stamped all the adorable images from Spooky Village & Oh Gnome!, colored with copic markers, and then die cut out using the coordinating dies. I layered them along the hills and grass, pop dotting some for dimension.
I love that middle spooky house next to the normal houses. I remember as a kid trick or treating, that one spooky house along my trick or treating route that always scared me!
To finish my card, I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed in white, pop dotting it along the bottom. For my embellishments, I went simple with purple domes.
I hope I have inspired you to use a non traditional color palette for your next holiday card!
Thank you for visiting and check out the new products that Butterfly Reflections, Ink has gotten in the past couple of weeks!
Thank you for stopping by!
