Hello, friends and welcome!! It's Laurie here making a guest appearance on the blog today! Always thrilled when I am able to help out here:)!
My latest order from Vanessa included some fall themed goodies which I couldn't wait to play with. Fall is definitely here in my part of the world. It's quite beautiful right now but the upcoming forecast sounds more like winter which just downright sucks. But you're not here to listen to me complain about the seasons, so let's have a look at the card I created!
I just had to get the new Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set along with its co-ordinating dies! I simply adore this line of stamps from Newton's Nook! I think they have 3 different sets featuring this girl! I coloured everything up with Copic markers and used the dies to cut each image out.
For the background, I used the Falling Leaves Stencil, also from Newton's Nook, along with some Translucent Embossing paste. After the paste was dry, I blended some Broken China Distress Oxide Ink over top. I admit, not the most Fall background but I love the subtle look of the leaves. I was thinking about using a yellow, orange or even brown ink but didn't want it to clash with the girl :)
I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock and adhered it with foam adhesive. In fact, everything except the orange pumpkin is popped up! I love me some dimension! I added a few highlights with a white gel pen and some sparkle to the pink areas and called this card done!
I hope you enjoyed today's project as much as I enjoyed making it! Thanks so much for stopping by and if you have a moment, I encourage you to check out the amazing line of products in the BRI shop!
Have a great day!!
Laurie
