Happy New Year's Eve, fellow Re-inkers! It's Andrea taking over the blog today. I always enjoy popping in to share with you, and I hope you're just as happy to have me!
I have "a thing" for snowmen, and Hello Bluebird's Frosty Littles are some of the cutest I've seen! I stamped those cute snowmen with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics. After cutting them out, I added a few details with a white gel pen.
Using Lawn Fawn's Shadow Box Card Dies, I die-cut two panels from some plaid paper in my stash. Into one of the panels, I die-cut an opening with the Mountain Add-on Dies. With the same dies, I die-cut the mountains from blue paper and the snowcaps from glitter cardstock. I also cut the trees from white cardstock using those dies and colored them with Copics.
To create a background for my scene, I trimmed three panels of patterned paper using the dimensions of the back and side panels of the box. After adhering the box card panels together at one of the tabs, I adhered the patterned paper to the inside panels and the mountains to the back panel. I trimmed the tabs and part of the height from one of the white hills and attached the trees and hill to the front of the box. After attaching the interior hills with double-sided tape, I affixed the last tab on the box panels. I white heat-embossed a sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Snow Bunnies and die-cut it with MFT's Stitched Sentiment Strips. I attached the snowmen with liquid adhesive and added the sentiment with foam tape.
I hope you have a safe and happy New Year's Eve!
