Hi friends! I'm sharing this cute slimline card using inspiration from the August mood board. The colors for this card are on the softer side but I love the way they blended to create a snowy sky.
To start, I cut a panel using the Trinity stamps slimline die. Next, I used a large ink blending brush and the following inks: grape crush, something borrowed, melon ice to create a background sky. The background was splatted with white acrylic paint.
Next, I stamped images from me and my yeti and little sloth agenda using brown hybrid ink. The images were colored using the following copics: N0, N1 for yeti fur, E0000 for the faces and R20 and RV00 for the cheeks. Images were then cut using the coordinating die sets.
For the background elements, I used the stitched mountain die to cut out the mountains. Pixie dust cardstock added to the snow caps for sparkle. Forest border die cut from white cardstock and glued to the front of the card. Foam tape used on the back of the mountains to add dimension. The letters for "mama" were cut using neat and tangled journaling alpha dies. I stacked the die cut words three times to create dimension. The rest of the sentiment is from pretty pink posh winter wonderland stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you find inspiration using the colors for the August mood board. Be sure to tag #BRImoodboard on Instagram and upload your images to Davina's blog for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Butterfly Reflections Ink.
