Hi BRI friends, Sara here!
I am back with a new card, inspired by the February BRI Mood Board. I love the pink and black together!
I love gnomes, they are always so fun to color: here I used the “You Gnome Me” stamp set from MyFavorite Things. I wanted to make a slimline card with two smaller scenes. I firstly cut a piece of 8.5”x3.5” light grey cardstock and then I used a basic circle shape to create the two “holes”. I used the outer border of the die to draw the black circle with a fine liner.
I then stamped all my images on a copic friendly paper and colored all of them with my beloved markers. I also added some details on their shirt with a purple colored pencil. On a different piece of paper I ink blended the background using blending brushes and Distress oxide in Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry. I also stamped with Versafine black some of the greenery from the MFT “Dandelion Greenery”: I think this set is a must have because it is so versatile and it fills a lot the scenes!
I arranged all my images with liquid glue or foam adhesive (i love playing with different depths) and I
attached the light grey panel too.
For my sentiment I used the Mama Elephant “Hello Friend” die: I die cut two and attached together to create some dimension; then I stamped a sentiment from the same gnome stamp set.
For a finishing touch, I used a piece of 4”x8.5” of pink glitter cardstock under my slim panel and I love how it looks!
Hugs from Italy! Sara
This is so cute!
