Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with a card inspired by the BRI September Moodboard!
I just love these colors! As soon as I saw them, I knew they'd be perfect for a flower card.
To make this slimline card I used Pinkfresh Studio's beautiful Miss Your Smile stamp set. That big flower is just so pretty! I stamped it with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and then heat embossed it with Ranger's Clear Embossing Powder so that the ink would look bold and not smear. After that, I used the coordinating Miss Your Smile Layering Stencils. I've never used layering stencils before but they were so easy to use. I'll definitely be using them again! I used Distress Oxides in abandoned coral, worn lipstick, and cracked pistachio to ink the flower and leaves.
I heat embossed the sentiment with Ranger's white embossing powder on black cardstock. I topped it off with some metallic watercolor and sequins. Thanks so much for checking out my card and don't forget to stop by BRI to pick up your crafting goodies!!
Have a wonderful day!
Stephanie
