Hi crafty friends! I am so excited to share this card for a sweet friend made with the cutest squishy bitty bears from MFT!
I colored the bears with Copic markers (listed below) and I had to give a nod to Harry Potter with that Gryffindor scarf! After cutting the bears out with the coordinating dies, I stamped out the trees from MFT's Modern Trees with Lawn Fawn inks (artichoke, cilantro, pumpkin spice, chili pepper, sunflower, and walnut) and cut out the trees with coordinating dies.
I cut out grass pieces using landscape dies from Mama Elephant, ink blended them with Distress Inks (crushed olive and mowed lawn), and splattered with mowed lawn Distress Ink. I created an autumnal sky with Distress inks (scattered straw, spiced marmalade, abandoned coral) and splattered carved pumpkin Distress Ink onto the sky. You can definitely achieve the same effect using Distress Oxide Inks as well.
I stamped out the sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink (my favorite ink for sentiments) and heat embossed clear embossing powder before cutting it out with a Lawn Fawn sentiment die. I added a bit of spiced marmalade distress ink around the edges to add some color to the sentiment strip. Finally, I assembled the card using foam squares, foam strips (for the tree trunks), and liquid glue.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great day! Happy crafting! 💖Jenn
