Happy Monday! Gladys here with a cute birthday card featuring products from Mama Elephant.
To begin I started with a A2 size panel cut from Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then I used the Columbus Circle die to cut in the center of the top panel. I inked blended the negative using distress oxide inks in wilted violet and peacock feathers.
I stamped and colored a few of the critters from Celebration Hamsters stamp set. I used copic markers to color them and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
Next I used the Quick Stripes dies to cut from colored cardstocks to coordinate with the colors I used on the images. I don't like a lot of white space on my card so this was a quick and easy way to add color and make a statement. I backed all the images with double sided foam tape before adhering them in place. Then I white heat embossed the sentiment on the inked panel. Finally, I used glossy accents to add shine on the balloons and cake then some highlights using a white gel pen to complete my card.
Thanks for joining me. Happy crafting and have a great week! Hugs!!
