Happiest Thursday, crafters!! Heather here with you today and I'm sharing a card that I recently created for my husband! March 24th was our 21st (wedding) anniversary and, I thought, that required an extra special card!
To create this one-of-a-kind interactive card I used Lawn Fawn's *NEW* Platform Pop-Up Lawn Cuts die set!! So much fun!! It seems that this die set would be super complicated to use - BUT IT'S NOT!! The tutorial over on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel is SO helpful! I can't wait to also pick up the special Pop-Up Add-On Lawn Cuts from the Butterfly Reflections Ink Shop. It's looks like such a fun way to add elements to this fun pop-up card! Here is a sneak peek of my card:
First things first: I have to confess that I've been hoarding the Pink Paislee/America Crafts "Lucky Us" 6x8 paper pad for the LONGEST TIME!!!! I just love the fun patterns so much and they're really perfect for a lovey-dovey anniversary card! I used a bunch of the fun elements that came in the die set to decorate my pop-up card (those candy heart panels - SWOON!!!)
I love it when paper pads have those fun little sentiment strips included, but I don't always USE them. "Have I told you lately that I love you" was just PERFECT!
I knew that I wanted to stamp/color the fun images from Lawn Fawn's Bicycle Built for You stamp and die set along with the teeny kids/animals from Lawn Fawn's Tiny Friends stamp and die set to create this card. I colored all of these Lawn Fawn images using Copic Markers and replicated our little family (and pets!) using them.
Finally, I used a few strips of acetate to attach little critters to the card along with the the fun sentiment {which also created a neat place to write out an anniversary message for my hubby}.
Here is a look at the front and the back of the card!
I love how this card came out and I hope that it inspires you to think outside the box with your card creations. I get super satisfied when something works so well and Lawn Fawn stand alone dies really work so well!! If you haven't tried this fun Platform Pop-Up Die Set, you need to hit up the Butterfly Reflection Ink Shop ASAP!! Happy Crafting, Friends!
