Hello friends, I hope you are doing well! I can't believe it's the last week of April already, time sure flies, doesn't it? Gladys here and I have one more card to share before my term ends. I hope you will like it and find some inspiration. Let's get started shall we!
Since some of the die cuts are small I found it helpful to use the shader brush from Waffle Flowers. For the green I used mowed lawn and lucky clover. For the purple I used seedless preserves, pink I used picked raspberry. For the blue I used peacock feathers and prize ribbon. For the pots I used rusty hinge and gathered twigs. I added more interest with speckles of diluted white gouache using a small fan brush.
Next, I used a slimline die from Trinity Stamps to cut from Bristol smooth cardstock. I ink blended the panel with prize ribbon, salvaged patina, wilted violet, picked raspberry and saltwater taffy. You can find all the colors I used in the shop. For more interest I added speckles of diluted white gouache and prize ribbon using a small fan brush.
For the sentiment I used the giant thanks die cut twice from white cardstock and once on blue cardstock. I glued them together to give dimension. Once everything was dried I adhered the elements onto the inked panel. Then I backed the panel against a rainbow pattern paper which was cut from a scallop die from Mama Elephant. For some final touch I added a scatter of hearts topped with glossy accents and white highlights with a gel pen.
