Hi crafty friends! Happy Easter! Peggy here with, of course, an Easter card!
I am so excited to show you my first project with Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I'm crafting with two stamp sets from the 2022 Spring Release, the adorable Bunnyville and Little Birdie! Let's get started!
I started by cutting a panel from some white cardstock and ink blended with Lawn Fawn's Plaid Stencil with Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks. I wanted to make the sentiment from the Bunnyville stamp set the star of the show. Therefore, I stamped the sentiment from the Bunnyville stamp set in brown pigment ink in the middle of the panel. I used a layer of Versamark Embossing Ink over top and heat embossed with clear powder.
Next, I covered the sentiment with a piece of paper and added gold metallic watercolor paint splatters to my panel. I used two stitched nested oval dies to create a white frame to put around my heat embossed sentiment. I adhered the frame with some foam dots. I stamped a branch from the Little Birdie stamp set and some of the flowers from the Bunnyville stamp set. I also stamped two of the adorable bunnies, the large easter egg, some butterflies and tufts of grass from the Bunnyville set. I colored everything with my copic markers and adhered the images around my white frame. To finish my card I added some glossy accents and white gelly roll pen to the images.
Hope your Easter is a happy one and until next time!
Long distance hugs,
Peggy
