Hello Everyone, Its Trish from Techniques by Trish .  Its been quite some time since I've had a chance to craft but thankfully I've been able to create a few christmas cards this season. I decided that it was time to dive into the pile of crafty supplies that have been sitting at the corner my desk that hadn't been used yet, now was a great time to break right into them. So this is the card that I created for today To start out, I used Lawn Fawn Lobster Ink on the MFT Diagonal Stripe background stamp  for a tone on tone effect for the background of the card.   Lawn Fawn Stitched Stackable Circle Dies was next on the list,  I decided my rectangle ones needed a little break and I really love the circle ones.   Onto the main event; the Hero Arts Color Layering Christmas Tree Stamp Set .  I used a bunch of different green inks that I had in my collection to create the layered tree effect, which I must say was incredibly easy to do with this stamp set.  But I felt l

Hi friends! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Both of our littles were sick on Thanksgiving, so we just had a quiet day at home, just the four of us. I had to cook our feast, and the results were questionable, though my hubby puts on a very brave face and even ate leftovers! Such a trooper. :) My cards today are relatively simple... just a bit of stamping and watercolor. I saw these new stamps from Wild Rose Studio and couldn't resist... even though they are a little "cute" for my taste. Branching out is good, right? I started out by taking a panel of 3 1/2x 4 1/2 watercolor card stock and stamping the snow family image from Snowmen using black Archival ink.  I then colored the snowmen in with a variety of Zig Clean Color markers. Hello, it's Lisa here with you today!  I am so excited to get to pop in on the blog today as a Guest Designer!  As we are inching closer to the Holidays we are also inching closer to the cut off date for having your Holiday Cards in the mail so they can be enjoyed in time.  While I have made plenty of cards for others to send out, I have yet to make any for myself. (yikes!) So today I have three cards to get me going in the right direction and that are easy to make/mass produce. ( Please excuse the photo quality as it has been rather rainy here the last couple days making it hard to get a great shot, grrr! ) For all of these cards I started by stamping my sentiments from the My Favorite Things Hand Lettered Holiday Stamp Set (which happens to be on sale, yay!) with Versafine Ink .  I also used the same stencil by My Favorite Things called Snowfall (also on sale!).  For the above card I chose to cover it with white embossing paste and Ranger Distress Rock Candy Sti

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts ! I am excited to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog , today! I don't know about you, but I love to send out Holiday cards to family and friends. However, with our hectic schedules, it makes it hard to find time to create all those cards.  So I am in love with using collections that include a variety of embellishments that match the paper. Today, I made these 3 cards in a matter of minutes. These cards are made using the My Mind's Eye Christmas on Market Street collection. I used the 6x6 paper pad, flair buttons, and die cuts embellishments.   I love how the flair provides a pop of color on this festive white and gold card. The large snowflake and sentiment banner are part of the die cuts packet.

Hello there!   Audrey here!  Today I have a winter wonderland shaker card for you!  I stared off my card by watercoloring a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper .  When it was dry, I diecut it with the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangles die set, and then centered the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles Tags from the center of the watercolor panel,  I added a piece of clear acetate to create the shaker window, and then filled the shaker with Lucy's Cards Lily White sequin mix and some   white iridescent stars .  Before I closed the shaker, I stamped a piece for white cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrops stamp set, using Juicebox ink , stamped off once to give a more subtle effect.  I stamped, colored and fussy cut the little dear from Lawn Fawn Toboggan Together and added them to the outside of the shaker using foam tape.  I stamped a sentiment from the Snowy Backdrops stamp set under the shaker, and then added a scattering of snowflakes that

Hey guys,  Jung  here with you sharing a cute card I made featuring Waffle Flower Craft's Faye stamp set.  I just love this cute little monkey!  I think this turned out to be a very versatile card; I could send it as a warm wishes holiday card (which is what I was going for with the red bow and green skirt), or a birthday card, or just because... I colored in the cute little  Faye monkey  (twice) using  copic markers  & a little  wink of stella clear glitter pen , and then fussy cut them out.  To create my sunset sky and ocean, I used distress inks in  picked raspberry , tumbled glass , broken china, and chipped sapphire.  The oval die is from the Avery Elle sweet scallops elle-ments die set .   I heat embossed the sentiment from an older Hero Arts stamp set using Ranger's gold embossing powder .  To finish off my card, I added star sequins from Lucy's card gold dust sequin shaker mix .   That's it for me today friends!  Don't forget to visit the BRI s

Hey Y'all! Ashley here with another layout share and video for this week! I began this layout with a light pink piece of card stock and some items from the Documentary collection. I've raved about this collection in a few other blog posts, but I really do love it. I wanted this layout to be a "go-with-the-flow" type of layout as I didn't feel like thinking through t his one. I feel like I succeeded at that. There are time where I put more planning and effort and then there are those moments where I just feel like scrapping without thinking. I love the combination of pink and mint. It reminds me of the queen in Candyland... It's just so pretty. The new Elsa's Flora  set from Winnie and Walter was just screaming to me to be done in pink and mint. Apparently, I'm all about the non-traditional holiday color combinations this year.  Anyway, to start, I die cut a dotted oval from the Avery Elle Sweet Scallops  die set and used my Zig markers to do a very light pink watercolor wash on the back of it. I stamped the poinsettia, leaf, and pinecone images several times on watercolor cardstock using a very pale gray ink. I then did some no-line watercoloring using my Zig markers. After the floral images had dried, I fussy cut them out, set them aside, and turned my attention to the sentiment. I pulled out the Merry Stamp and Cut set from Hero Arts and die cut the "merry" from deep pink cardstock. Needless to say, I am hooked!  I wanted to create a CAS one layer card and I did! But then I added a small strip of designer paper to the top of the card to "finish" it. Hi hi hi!! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a dreamy and nostalgic type layout! :) I started by adding some white Gesso to the background of my, pretty busy and texty background paper. That just softens up the 'noise' of the paper. Then I did some watercoloring with Distress Inks in light blues onto a separate piece of watercolor paper ! Once the paper was dry, I  stamped the clouds from Lawn Fawn Bon Voyage stamp set and fussy cut them out! I just LOVE the way those watercolor clouds look! I placed them around my photo, and then used some of the Happy Things Wood Veneers to bring some of the 'kraft' color! I stitched on the title, which I created with letters from both the Yes Please Remarks Sticker Book and Webster's Pages #Happy Teal Letter Stickers ! Just a bit more embellishing with a flair from Lawn Fawn , and a bow from Dear Lizzy ! I just LOVE how this turned out! So that's what I have for you today! I hoep it inspired

Hello, Brandi  here...popping in with a card to lift up anyones day. I created this card for a family member who is going through some things and wanted to lift her spirits. Best of all, she loves tea too. It's a win, win! I stamped various images (tea cup, plate and spoon) from the  Concord & 9th Let's Chat stamp set . When I say this stamp company has the cutest stamps...I mean it! Love them! I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers . The last step was to add a cute piece of twine and patterned paper and assemble everything together on a pale blue card base. What do you think? Hello there!   Audrey here!  Today I have a card to share with you using old and new Lawn Fawn products!  I used the Stitched Rectangle Stackables to diecut a rectangle for my focal point.  Then I used the Puffy Clouds border dies, cut from a post-it note, to create a cloudy background using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and an ink blending tool.  To took the cloud mask and stuck it to my rectangle at the bottom.  I inked the free edge of the cloud with a very light hand, and then moved it the cardstock repeating the inking, and shifting the mask as I went along so that the clouds were not perfectly uniform.  I stamped and fussy cut one of the penguins from Toboggan Together , and stamped the balloon images from Hello Sunshine using Lobster ink , before diecutting them with the coordinating dies .  I adhered them with foam tape, and then hand drew balloon strings.  I popped the penguin up with foam tape, and positioned him so that he looks like he was floating along with the balloon

Hey guys!   Jung  here today with a fall warm hearts shaker card.  I needed a little break from making Christmas cards, and I loved the colors of this month's BRI mood board, so I made a shaker card perfect for fall and Thanksgiving. For this card, I used a warm heart sentiment from the Hero Arts holiday  family & friends stamp set .  (I think this sentiment is perfect for everyday use, as well as the holidays.)  I heat embossed the sentiment with  versamark  and  gold embossing powder .  The flowers are from the My Favorite Things  fall florals stamp set , and I cut them out using the coordinating  fall floral die-namics .  For the inks, I used the Hero arts ombre ink pads in  light ruby to royal red , and  butter to orange .  I added some enamel dots from my stash to the center of the flowers;  these by Echo Park would work perfectly.  I also topped my flowers with a little clear wink of stella glitter pen .  For the background, I used distress inks, and I filled the sh

Once I decided I wanted four clusters, I knew that it was going to be super easy to embellish from that point on. I used some elements from the Shine collection and added a few things from the Documentary collection as well. Hello friends! Happy Monday. Emily here today with a watercolored card that might give you some ideas on how to stretch your stamps.  So, I received the  Winter Sparkle  set and immediately had visions of floating ornaments. The only problem was that, well, in my head the floating ornaments were solid with lots of shading and dimension, while the ornaments in the set had beautiful sentiments inlaid into the interior of the ornaments. Though these sentiments are really lovely, with lovely fonts and overall message, I really just wanted those solid ornaments. Now what do I do? Time to turn over my stamps! The front of the stamp is made of the same material as the back (at least, I think it is...) so it sticks to your block the same as the back does! Yay. So nice to get more bang for your buck with your stamps, right? I used my Distress Inks to do some watercoloring. I knew I wanted teal, mint, and purple ornaments, so I chose a dark and a light shade of ink to use for shading.

It's Marcie here, and I am thrilled to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog today.  I'm sharing a trio of Christmas cards that were easily created with some gorgeous My Mind's Eye products (and the help of a few other fun things!).  Journalling cards like the gorgeous ones included in the Market Street collection are a perfect focal point for a quick and easy card to put together. Using the large and small frames from Finished Frames by Avery Elle gives this card a simple but polished look.  The Doily Circle die by Waffle Flower Crafts adds such an elegant touch of red to this card. Paired with the lovely fonts in the Merry Stamp & Cut set by Hero Arts, this card evokes such a warm and lovely Christmas-y feeling. A touch of sparkle and Glossy Accents make the sentiment really stand out.  The larger journalling cards in the Market Street collection just beg to be cut apart and decorated! For the final card

Hi everyone, I'm very excited to be back on the blog today to share a Christmas card with MFT goodies. I first cut out two panel with the Lawn Fawn  stitched rectangles dies , one from from kraft cards stock and the other from vellum.  I stamped the trees from  Jingle All the Way  to create the background, heat embossed them with Hero Arts  white embossing powder  and then coloured them in with pencil crayons.  I then took one of the sentiments from the  Joyous Christmas Sentiments  and heat embossed them again with the HA white embossing power and added a few starts with some enamel dots to finish off the card.  Don't forget to stop by the SHOP , there are SO many fun Christmas products, you deserve to treat yourself! Hello, Brandi  here... One more day until the weekend, am I right? I'm popping in with a fun holiday card using various die cuts from  Avery Elle's Snow Caps Elle-ments Die . These are the perfect dies to build a fun winter scene.  I started out by die cutting all of the various mountains, snow slopes and snow lift to start my background. Next I chose a few animal images from  Avery Elle's Snow Much Fun Stamp Set  and colored them with my watercolor pencils. Those animals are just the cutest. The final step was to add a fun sentiment from the same set and assemble everything together on a turquoise card base. So what do you think? Hope you enjoy my dose of inspiration for you. Hello there!   Audrey here with some rainbows and sunshine for you! :) I wanted to play along with the new WPlus9 sketch challenge, so I used that sketch as a jumping off point for my card.  I diecut a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper and a piece of white cardstock using the Sunshine Layers dies by WPlus9.  Using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border dies, I cut a curve in the piece of watercolor paper.  Then, using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers , I scribbled a rainbow of stripes along the curved edge, and wet them with clean clear water and a paint brush.  As I added water, I tipped the paper a bit to allow the color to run.  When I was satisfied with the color, I let it air dry, and then glued it to the left side of the other scalloped rectangle.   I diecut a bunch of clouds from white cardstock using the Sunshine Layers die set, and the word "sunshine" from black cardstock.  I stamped "hello" from the Sending Sunshine stamp set to
