Bloom Love

Good Morning everyone! I hope your morning is going great. I am so happy that it's Friday and all the fun events planned for this weekend. I am back with another layout! These products that I am using, just never get old to work with. I like to challenge myself and see what I come up with. I love the fringe look I did with the  Avery Elle 6x6 pattern papers  I also used a cut file from Ashley Horton from The Cut Shoppe, I packed it with some vellum.  I have officially used up all of those  Friendship Paper Pieces  and I am a little sad about it. I love anything with flowers, hearts, rainbows, clouds, raindrops...Pretty much SPRING! but my favorite season is Fall. ha ha!  I made a boo boo on this layout. When I started to use my Heidi Swapp Color Shine, It literally went everywhere. It was all over my arm and fingers and I had one of those moments where I was like "How did this happen?" and then I look down at the page! Oh NO!! The color shine was s

To get that little white frame around my images I let the diecut stay in the die while I inked the background. Other than that this is a very straight forward card (-: Simple and fast! I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the card which says - and I'm so Jelly. Sunny Studio Stamps - Tropical Paradise

Hey folks! I am so excited to be back to share a few card with you all! I gotta be honest peeps, I love how my card turned out, but not a big fan of my pictures. In fact, I was getting ready to do new ones, when I realized there was water allll over my craft room floor. Ruh-ro Raggy. So. No new pics, but it's cool, I hope you enjoy my cards anyway! For my cards today, I used the  Sunny Studio Stamps Tropical Paradise Stamp Set . I simply adore the shape of these images. The first thing I did was, I made masks of all the images with  Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper , then stamped my scenes with  Momento Tuxedo Black Ink  on all of my cards. On my first card, I decided I wanted to use colors, that I normally wouldn't. Ya know, so I could color teal flamingos. Really, I grabbed an old color wheel I have and chose Copic colors that worked together. When all of my images were colored, I masked everything off again. Then, on the top half of the panel, I added a light la

I Love You Right Now!

Happy Friday to you!! I am back with another layout using more of the same goodies. Illustrated Faith, Avery Elle, and Amy Tangerine! This time I had this idea to use a banner in this layout, it's just a good way to use up paper and bring in colors and patters. I also want to mention the title. I am sure you all have kids and understand the ups and downs of sibling love..Right? Well we were on a road trip and they were getting along so well and then about two hours into the trip, the arguing started. lol! so I felt like this title was fitting. So here is what I came up with! I love the pop of colors that this paper from  Avery Elle  brings to the layout. I also incorporated some black and white pattern paper from my scraps.  Something else that makes this paper pop is this bold title from  Amy Tangerine  These foam word sayings are the best when it comes to titles. I have a hard time coming up with titles, so this is the perfect solution!  Ok last thing I wan

Wildflower Card Set

Happy Summer!  It’s Lorraine (from Created by Lorraine ) and I’m here to share a set of cards I made using the Wildflower stamp set from Concord and 9 th and the Balloon Messages stamp set from Waffle Flower Crafts .  Here’s the first one:   To make this card, I first stamped the wildflower images on masking tape and cut them out.  Then I stamped the images onto my card base, covered them with the masks and then blended on some distress ink. After peeling off the masks, I used a white gel pen to color in the small leaves.  I then stamped the sentiment and added a few open circle stamps and black sequins.  The same method was used for these cards: And all together, the set of three cards: Thank you for taking a look.  I hope everyone’s summer has gotten off to a great start!

"Welcome Summer" feat. Lawn Fawn!

Happy first day of summer everyone!! :) It's franci ( friday finally )  here today with a cute Lawn Fawn card to celebrate the season! Here's what i created.. Those whales are my fave stamps ever! they are soo pretty!  So today i decided to create a happy and fun card to get into the summer happiness!  Finally summer arrived also here in Milan after lots of super rainy days, the sun always shines in the sky and everything make me think about the sea and the ocean.. about vacations!! :) That's why i dusted all my "summer stamp set" and i started to create this fun ocean scene. A-moose-ing Father's Day Shaker

Hello my friends! Thank you for joining me, Janette , here on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. I hope that this Father's Day finds you well and that you are celebrating those that you love. Fathers come in all shapes and sizes, and aren't necessarily always the biological pops. Be sure to celebrate all those who have taken on the fatherhood role out of necessity, compassion or simply for the love of the children. Sometimes that looks like a single mom, grandparent, uncle or even a friend or neighbor. It takes a village to raise these children, and it is important to let those people know they are appreciated. I share with you the card that goes to the awesome dad in our house, it's a-moose-ing! By now you must know that this girl loves a shaker. This card, with 4 shaker areas, was a breeze to make with the Misti Tool . I stamped the pond and stream identically on two 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white cardstock panels with the Dad & Me Lawn Fawn stamps  (whi

Seriously?! Scrapbook Layout

Hello! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a cute layout of my little Mann! I used some embossing paste in white and a plus sign stencil to create some texture on the background! Once it was dry, I added just a tiny bit of watercolor in Tumbled Glass Distress Ink ! I layered my photos with various papers from my 6x6 paper pad collection (it's quite large)! Ha! I embellished with Create a Smile enamel shapes  and  Carpe Diem word phrases ! The title is a cute, handwritten-type Thicker from Amy Tangerine ! So that's it! I totally loved making this layout! Those photos crack me up! My little Mann was sitting on our steps (we called it the penalty box), and he was 'wrapping his hockey stick!" Ha ha! Except, it was a play hockey stick, and the tape was painters tape! He's got such a perfect imagination! Thanks for hanging out with me a little toady! ~ Samantha

Friendship

Happy Friday!! I am back with another layout. I am still working with Illustrated Faith products and I am just loving all the bright colors they bring to my summer layouts. So here is my latest creation. I used the  Illustrated Faith Friendship Paper Pieces  to bring in some floral and I used the  My Minds Eye Jubilee Story Journal Cards  they came with these cute cut outs of the hello and the bird. I back those cut outs with the  Avery Elle 6x6 Paper Pad in Everyday Collection   I love using cut files. I went on Pinterest and found a circle cut file and just used scrap paper that I had in my stash to create the background. Its considered a doily background. So I put it in my Silhouette Studio and enlarged the image.  This photo of my sweet girl bring me her favorite snack and me my favorite drink (Tea) she did this all by herself and I was so impressed. I mean she even knew to use hot water for the tea and not cold. We sat down and enjoyed that moment together and

Happy Birthday

Hey there!  It’s Lorraine ( Created by Lorraine ) and I have a confession to make.  Ever since I got the Ooh La La stamp set by Poppy Stamps and the Big Top Birthday stamp set from Neat and Tangled , I haven’t been able to put them down!  Here’s a card that uses both: For this card, I first stamped all the images, colored them with Copic markers, and die cut them.  One thing I love about the penguin is you don’t have to color in that much.  Then I masked off the top and bottom of the card base, blended on some distress ink, sprayed a bit of water and drew stars with a white gel pen.  Lastly, I added the die-cut images onto the card with foam tape.    I hope all of you Butterfly Reflections Inkers are doing well and finding time to get crafty.  Thanks for dropping by! A Note To Brighten Your Day!

Hi there!   It's Kimberly, from Kimplete Kreativity , here with you today with a super happy card using supplies from Neat & Tangled, Waffle Flower Crafts & Sugar Pea Designs! SUPPLIES Hexastar Stencil - Neat & Tangled  Ombre Neon Ink Pad Yellow to Orange - Hero Arts  Whatever the Weather Stamp Set - Sugar Pea Designs Jumbo Letter HI die - Waffle Flower Crafts  Onyx Black Ink - Versafine Clear Embossing Powder - Ranger I created my background by blending each of the shades from the Hero Arts ombre ink pad onto the hexastar stencil, beginning with yellow towards the center of the stars and gradually adding color so the orange is on the outside. I die cut the 'HI' twice, once from black and once from yellow-orange.   I adhered both cuts to the center of the card.   These new dies from Waffle Flower are the coolest - you can use them in so many different ways - the die even cuts awesome holes around the letters if you'd like to use

Just a Note

Hi Everyone! It's Karin from  PeppermintPatty's Papercraft , here to share some inspiration. For today's little project I've played with some adorable products from Paper Smooches and Lawn Fawn! A couple of weeks ago I was shopping with my mom and when I needed to make a note of something she took out some scrap pieces of paper she had stapled together. She was reusing paper that would otherwise gone in the dustbin which is great, but I wanted to make her something nicer to carry around in her purse and quickly made a bunch of these: I simply cut a piece of patterned paper 6x4½ and folded it as in the picture above.  I then cut a bunch of papers slightly smaller  than the inside of my notepad cover 3.7 (?) I stamped each piece with a cute cat image and then stapled them in place. I then stamped, colored and diecut a cat image to adhere to the front of the pad. I also cut and stamped a little banner. Supplies: Stamps: Paper Smooches

I used Shabby shutters and spiced marmelade distress ink shades, starting from the top and the bottom and drawn the colors to the center of the card. I fussy cut them and i i added some details wit a white gely roll pen and some Wink of Stella clear brush .
