You are the cooles Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo

Hello Friends Waleska from  craftinglovew  here super happy to be sharing again with you here at the blog!   I had so much fun creating this colorful slimline card I hope you like it! CARD DETAILS: I started by die cutting this fun MFT Baby Shark Die-namics with different colors of cardstock. You can do them in any color, I added a little shading to the sharks with Oxide Inks for dimention. To adhere together the shark mouth I found that it is easier to assemble the teeth and the inside part of the mouth and then adhere the mouth part. To continue with this card I did the card background, I wanted a deep sea feel, I used oxide inks in colors Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon, for the sand piece I used Trinity Stamps  Slimline Scenic Border Dies I used Vintage Photo Oxide ink for the edges and splashed some vintage photo drops of water as well as some white acrilic paint mixed with water for some tesxture of the sand. I also cut  two pane...

Heart and Soul

Hello, BRI fans!  Toni here today celebrating spring and all growing things. I am so glad spring is finally here and I can start to enjoy outdoor time again! For this card, I started by diecutting the Lawn Fawn Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop out of a luscious chartreuse green color. I used Ranger Multi Medium Matte to adhere it to the card base.                        I next stamped the Pinkfresh Studio Heart and Soul image onto watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black . I colored this up using Zig markers. A really quick color too! Finally I stamped the sentiment using Versamark and embossed it in white. It's mounted on Scotch Foam Tape . For a full list of ingredients and to check out my other creations, visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft .  I'll see you next week!

Fairy Wishing

Hello, BRI fans! Toni here with you today! For the card background, I stamped the Mama Elephant Wishing You sentiment with Versamark and embossed it with gold. I then sponged Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick and Salty Ocean around it, placing a bit of emphasis at the bottom so there was more shadow behind the diecut. Can you see the strip of gold at the bottom as well?  I masked the card base and used Versamark to emboss more gold. Next up: the Pink Fresh Spring Floral Die . I love its folksy vibe, don't you?  I also love that it comes as a two-parter for even more versatility.  I used both parts in my card--the top left in white and the bottom sponged ombre-style with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn . I used Ranger Multi Medium Matte to adhere the intricate cut. I'm a messy crafter and MMM is a godsend as the glue dries matte and hides my messiness. :) Now time to color up a few of the Mama Elephant Little Fairy Agenda images using Copi...

Wonderland

Hi BRI friends!  Toni with you today with a couple of bold floral cards for a change of pace. The Altenew Wonderland flowers were embossed with Versamark and Ranger Gold embossing powder (my fav). I then used Lindy's Magicals to color them up. I LOVE the shimmer. Both cards feature a sentiment from Altenew Beautiful Day stamped in Versafine Onyx Black . The multi-flower card base has been masked and sponged with a repeating pattern stencil and Distress Oxide Black Soot . The other card uses a partial stencil cover plate die cut on black.  Lots of oomph but less messy for sure!  I stamped the sentiment on one of the Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banners . For a full list of ingredients and to see my other creations, go on over to my blog, Frankie Helps Craft .  Hope you have the most beautiful day!!

Merry Little

Hello, BRI fans! Toni here with you today trying to keep my New Year's resolution of spreading my holiday card making throughout the year rather than lumping it all at the end.  Any bets on how long it lasts?!  And did you know BRI is having a huge clearance sale right now?  Check it out! For today's card it's all about the pink. I sponged Ranger Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry onto the card base and spattered it with water.  While that was drying I diecut the white panel using the MFT Christmas Tree Window and a scalloped rectangle. I used a leftover bit of a panel watercolored with Lindy's Magicals. You could get a similar shimmer using Wink of Stella . To finish the card I embossed one of the Mama Elephant Holiday Messages onto a Lawn Fawn Everyday Banner using Versamark and my favorite Ranger detail white embossing powder. Feel free to check out my blog, Frankie Helps Craft , to see my other creations.  I'll see you next week!

Trust Me...

Hello! Samantha here with you today, and I'm super excited to share my fun, summer inspired card today! Love it! What's not to love, really? Ha! I used the cuuuuuuuute Flamingo Floatie stamp set from Neat and Tangled ! Hello adorable! Lol! I colored in the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut it out, but wait!! They also have dies, so need to get out those scissors if you don't want to! I created the 'waves' with Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch and doing a little masking! Super easy! Then I heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and versamark ink . I also heat embossed the other half of the sentiment with black embossing powder on vellum! Isn't it so sweet! Hope this card got you inspired to create and shop!!! Enjoy! ~ Samantha

Box sets....

Hi, hello!   Norine back again this week with some card sets in boxes.  I love making cards (that's kinda why I'm here) but I'm not as good at sending them out, so sometimes I'll collect a few that go together, make them into a set and give them away to others who can use them.  Today though, I began with the intention to made 3 sets specifically for gifts. This post is less about the packaging of these cards, than the cards themselves, but I wanted you to see what they all looked like before we open them up and I show you the cards inside!  I used the new monogram stamps from Concord & 9th for all the cards.  And in the end they are all Thank you cards.  Hello cards will come another day! This set was created by experimenting with ink colors.  It wasn't actually the look I was going for but after stamping off a 2nd generation inking a couple of times, I decided I really liked the look of distressed denim and I expect I'll b...

Love you to the Moon

Hello! It's Ali here from alilovescardmaking ( Youtube / Instagam ), joining you for my first Butterfly Relections Ink post! So excited to be here along side some super talented crafters and to share some of my cards with you! Hope you enjoy them and find some inspiration here and there :-). Christmas and New Year went by with a flash didn't they? Time to start thinking about making cards for the next calendar event - Valentines Day!  I thought I'd try and come up with a card for the special man in my life - don't know about you but I find 'masculine' cards the most difficult!!  But this set from Altenew, To The Moon, is the solution! With the revival of the look of Alcohol Inks in mind, I pulled out some Copics (B29, B24) and Rubbing Alcohol and created this quick background on glossy photo paper. Once dry, I darkened the outer edges with Distress Oxide Black Soot .  I then splattered some white gesso over the background piece with a water brush and s...

Striped Doodle Flowers

Happy, happy hump day! Hope you all are having a GREAT week! I made two cards this week using the same stamps; one monochromatic with Copics, the other soft and colorful with Zig Clean Color Markers. I stamped the watercolor background stamps on the main panel as well as the base card, the main panel is cut with MFT Blueprints and layered with fun foam. The monochromatic flowers were stamped with Jet Black ink, colored with Copics and layered onto a partial stitched circle from MFT.   On the Zig card, I embossed the images with white embossing powder and layered onto a partial white doily. The sentiments are from Right at Home, Script Sayings, I used the Misti to stamp the sentiments so I could stamp multiple times for a solid impression, particularly since the one actually stamps on the doily. Thanks for stopping by - don't forget to check out all the amazing items at Butterfly Reflections Ink - particularly that sale section  or the Stamp and ...

Hippo Birdie to you...and you...and you...AND ME!

How special is that - I get to post on my BIRTHDAY - my favorite holiday of the year! :D Yes, I'm really that crazy about my birthday. HA! And of course, I thought it best to make some birthday cards - no, I promise I'm not sending one to myself! I found these super CAS card samples online, but sadly it was just a photo and didn't link back to the original post, so if you are reading this and you made cards JUST LIKE THIS with polka dot paper, speak up, I'd love to give you credit for the inspiration! I stamped out all the images on Copic paper, die cut and colored with Copics. I also die cut all the other pieces - patterned paper, vellum, and wonky circle. These were soooo easy to create; once everything was colored, I embossed the sentiment on vellum and assembled everything layering onto a white card base. So fun and so simple and a great way to use up scrap paper! Thanks for stopping by; hope your day is spectacular! Hugs! WHAT'S IT TAK...

Believe In Your Dreams

Hi there!   This is Tanya from Studio 5380 sharing a sparkly shaker card with you today...     These beautiful flowers are from the new Lawn Fawn die set, Pretty Poppies.   I cut the flowers and leaves from white cardstock and inked them up with Distress Oxides in the following colors:  Worn Lipstick , Spiced Marmalade , Peeled Paint and Iced Spruce.   After inking the flowers and leaves, I spritzed them with a bit of water and watched the Distress Oxides do their magic! I really love these inks! This beautiful sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn stamp set, Flutter By.   I stamped my sentiment with  VersaMark Ink and sprinkled on some Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder.   After heat embossing the sentiment, I was ready to assemble my card.    I cut out my black layer 4 times and adhered them together so that my sequins would have space to move freely when shaken.  I filled the shaker area with some ...
