Merry Christmas

Hello, Brandi here! I'm popping in to wish you a Merry Christmas and share a colorful Christmas card with you. For this card I used the antler image and sentiment from this cute  Christmas Antler  stamp set. The patterned paper is from  Basic Grey's Juniper Berry Paper Line . I love how everything came together. What about you? Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Brandi

Hero Arts Joyful greetings card & gift tag

Hey guys,  Jung  here with you today with a card and a gift tag featuring Hero Arts'  Family & Friends stamp set .  Sometimes I struggle making masculine cards, but I think this set makes great holiday cards suitable for both ladies and gentlemen! For my card, I first heat embossed the big tree and star images using Ranger's  gold embossing powder  on water color paper.  Then I water colored over the top using Tim Holtz' new distress ink color in  Lucky clover .  I painted in layers adding less and less water to create an ombre effect.  I die cut the 2 & 5 using My Favorite Thing's new  Stitched Numbers Die-namics  with some red foiled paper I had a few scraps of.  (I think the red foil paper in Heidi Swapp's  Oh What Fun Foil & Glitter paper pad  would be similar.)  I glued the numbers on with some glossy accents .  Then, I popped the entire water color panel with some fun foam on...

Warm Wishes

Hello,  Brandi  here! I'm popping in with a warm and cozy holiday card to share with you today. I stamped this amazing sentiment and coffee cup from the  Neat and Tangled Warm Wishes stamp set  onto a piece of kraft cardstock.  Next I stamped the coffee cup onto a piece of patterned paper from the  Basic Grey Juniper Berry  line. I then cut it out and popped it up on the kraft panel. Last, I added a few more pieces of patterned paper and assembled everything together onto this fun and vibrant card base. What do you think? The weekend is just around the corner, last one until Christmas. Do you have all of your shopping done? Have you shopped for yourself? Don't forget to stop by the  store  and pick up some fun supplies! Until next time... Brandi

SHINE. You smile. I smile.

Hey everyone,  Jung  here!  Today, I'm sharing a scrapbook layout with you of my younger daughter. One line from my journaling says "You sure make me work for that genuine smile, but when you do, you shine!," and it's totally true.  We even have a joke in our family that she has a Chandler smile, lol.  (If you watch Friends, it's the episode where Chandler & Monica take engagement photos.)  I hope her smiles make you smile, just like it does for me! I took these photos of her while we were at the pumpkin patch, so I wanted to use fall colors on the layout.  I made my own fall embellishments using My Favorite Things fall florals  stamp set  and matching  dies .  I just got this set and I absolutely love it!!!  The stamps are small enough that I was able to use my beloved hero arts ombre ink pads; One of my favorites for fall colors is  butter to orange !  I did add a little bit of clear wink of Stella ...

You Warm My Heart

Hello, Brandi  here with a fun little Holiday card to share with you. Don't you just love these cute little seals and sentiment from the Avery Elle Polar Pals  stamp set? I stamped a couple of the seals, hearts and floating icebergs with  Memento Tuxedo Black Ink  on a piece of watercolor paper. Next, I colored all the images and water background with  Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers . I'm telling you these markers are the best! They produce the most vibrant colors. Next, I stamped the sentiment and started assembling the card on a blue cardstock base with a sheet of  Basic Grey Juniper Berry Patterned Paper . To tie all the colors together I added a couple of cute little buttons. So what do you think? I don't know how anyone could pass up this  stamp set  and beautiful  holiday paper . So head over quickly to the  Butterfly Reflections Ink Shop  before they're all sold out!!! ...

Hello there friends!! Its Chitra here with my last DT post!! :( Here is my card for you... I have used this super gorgeous die cut feathers from Kelly Purkey Second City collection from Basic Grey , I added glue to just the paper feathers as the 3 feathers on the left are all vellum so I added glue only behind the sentiment for the vellum feathers, the sentiment is from Pink Paislee Hello Sunshine stickers . For the background I flicked some red glimmer spray mist, I also added some sequins for embellishment. Hope you liked my todays card. I hope this has inspired you to take a look at some of your older collections and find matching colors to some of the newer lines so you can use up your stash while having fun! So in Love!

Hi Everyone!  I'm really excited to share with you this gorgeous, but time consuming layout (it was worth every minute when you see the result)!  Vanessa sent me some 6x6 pads and I wanted to showcase all of the beautiful papers in the Basic Grey Fresh Cut collection .  I decided to punch a bunch of hearts out of some of my favorite papers and glue them down dimensionally into one large heart.  It took me a little over an hour to achieve this look. Since, I wanted the paper to be the star, I didn't want to over embellish the page.  I used to frames from The Pier collection to frame my photos.  Then, I dipped some of the wood veneer clouds from Chic Tags in some chalk ink and added a flair from Crate Paper Love Notes .  I adhered everything down using Multi Matte Medium .      I just love the light and airy look of the finished product.  I hope you enjoyed!  --Nicole

sweet dreams with embossing paste and feathers!

Ha ha! Samantha here, and I have to admit, ok, so that title of the post made me laugh when I typed it out!  Embossing paste and feathers sounds messy and sticky! lol! Luckily that is not the case with my card today! :) I used lots of my favorite things on this card! I can't wait to share! So no more delay! Here's my card: Woooo! I love it!  That dark brown woodgrain paper is from the MME Wood Designer Cardstock collection! and it's ALL WOODGRAIN PAPERS! jackpot! lol! LOVE this paper! i used some white embossing paste and this DREAMY and so trendy stencil from Memory Box , to really make the stars and dots pop against the background! The sentiment is from the Dream mini set from Lawn Fawn , as are the feathers!  The feathers are fussy cut from the Basic Grey HighLine paper pad ...and wow! FAVORITE papers ever!! They're so bright and happy and FUN! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I popped up the feathers and added string to the bases so they looke...
