"Dancing with the Stars " Mini-Album // Paige Evans collection & cut file

Hi,  crafty friends! Heather here and I have a mini album to share with you....I used a Paige Evans mini album cut file with a collection of products from Pink Paislee Paige Evans.  I created the album for pictures taken at a Dancing With The Stars Live show earlier this year. It was super fun and had too many pictures for just a scrapbook layout! Using the cut file made it easy to create the album and Paige Evans provides a helpful tutorial on her YouTube page.        To embellish the front, I used a combination of Pick Me Up ephemera and alpha stickers from my stash.  The flair is from an etsy shop called Cuts2Luv and she has beautiful flair pieces. To enclose the album, I glued a piece of twine around it and also adhered tiny velcro circles from my stash.      To make the base of the album and tags, I used Pink Paislee Take Me Away 6 x6 paper pad and the Pink Paislee Pick Me up 6 x6 paper pad  ....

"Me & You" scrapbook layout // Doodlebug Designs Hello Collection

Hi crafty friends! I hope you are having a great week and had time to play with some paper today!  Heather here to share another project with you using the Hello collection from Doodlebug Designs.   After three layouts, I have so much product left for probably another few layouts!  This layout is of my daughter and husband out on a "daddy-daughter date"...so sweet! This layout came together so much quicker than normal , but it was easy when I had all of these adorable speech bubbles from the Hello Collection chit chat package.  I couldn't narrow down the ones I wanted to use because they all had such cute messages...so I add them all! I started with a 12 x 12 piece of black cardstock and started laying down the speech bubbles I wanted to use.. .spacing them out like a puzzle.  I have been reaching for a lot of black cardstock lately because I love the way the bright colors look against the dark background...Once I had them placed ...

"Memories" scrapbook layout ///Doodlebug Designs "Hello" collection

Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! It's Heather and I am so excited to be sharing my first design team project with you! When I saw the Hello collection from Doodlebug , I knew it was just perfect for the photos I had of my mother celebrating her most recent birthday...(no, mom, I won't tell everyone how old you are!) Most of my layouts have only one photo, but I couldn't possibly choose between them...she looks so happy! I decided a grid format was the best way to go which is the easiest way to get incorporate many of the beautiful patterned papers.  Plus, I was able to use one of the large chipboard words from Dear Lizzy  perfectly in between.  I had initially thought I would paint them in some way...but I love the way the white title contrasts with all of the colors! I started with a piece of American crafts white cardstock....And, at this time, Butterfly Reflections Ink does not offer 12x12 papers, but what goes on that piece of...

YAY! Let's Celebrate

Hey y'all! It's Kelli here for my first post as a design team member! Woohoo! Today I'm sharing a quick and simple card using the Maggie Holmes Carousel Collection. For this card I have used the Carousel Ephemera pack , Carousel 6x8 Paper Pack , Carousel Faux Enamel Stickers , and Carousel Foil Stickers . These cards are incredibly easy to make. I suggest you lay everything out to get the layout you want prior to gluing anything down. First, I cut the kaleidoscope paper down to a little under 4.25" x 5.5" to fit on the card base. Then, I laid down the flower with gold glitter and on top of that the giraffe. With foam tape I adhered the "YAY" sentiment and over that I used the "CELEBRATE" stick. Then, I added the skate enamel sticker and some sequins and it's done! The great thing about these products is that you can make a lot of different cards with all different types of looks! Here's another card I made using the same...
