Persian Beauty

Hello Crafty Friends!  Put simply - I adore this stamp set! Persian Motifs from Altenew - beautiful images, so easy to colour and the colour combinations you can use for this flower are endless! This stamp set looks stunning coloured with Polychrolo Pencils on Kraft card (by now you will know how much I love kraft card!!) and re-stamped and embossed in gold embossing powder. I began this card by stamping the 3 flower images from the set, using my original Misti, with Momento Potters Clay ink (a light distress ink will word too). I made a frame from green cardstock with my mft Stitched Rectangles ...

I coloured them with my prismacolour pencils and die-cut them out with the corresponding dies.  . To make the bookmark, I created a simple template (below). I used the widths shown for the bookmark (I had previously used a similar template from StampingMathilda). The lenght is up to you depending on how much you want showing at the 'back' of the bookmark (you can cut the back 'overhang' off altogether to simply form a triangle bookmark if you wish). Fold the top corners down at the halfway mark...
