Mood board Inspiration

Hi friends!   I'm sharing this cute slimline card using inspiration from the August mood board.  The colors for this card are on the softer side but I love the way they blended to create a snowy sky. To start, I cut a panel using the Trinity stamps slimline die.  Next, I used a large ink blending brush and the following inks: grape crush , something borrowed , melon ice to create a background sky.  The background was splatted with white acrylic paint.   Next, I stamped images from me and my yeti and little sloth agenda using brown hybrid ink.  The images were colored using the following copics: N0, N1 for yeti fur, E0000 for the faces and R20 and RV00 for the cheeks.  Images were then cut using the coordinating die sets.  For the background elements, I used the stitched mountain die to cut out the mountains.   Pixie dust cardstock added to the snow caps for sparkle.   Forest border die cut from white cardstock and glued to ...

I'd Be Lost Without You Anniversary Card

Hey friends! Britney here with a card featuring several Lawn Fawn products ( Car Critters ,  Happy Village , Oliver’s Stitched ABCs,  Happy, Happy, Happy , and  Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait ). I cut out the center cross lines from each and glued them all together using liquid adhesive. On a plain white panel of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card stock, I masked off a line to ink up my sky. I used Lawn Fawn  Fish Tank  and  Blue Jay  inks. Once that was done, I spritzed some of the  Avery Elle Clear Shimmer Spray  to the background. I used Lawn Fawn  Manatee  an...

Thankful Critters

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a fun food-filled scene in the spirit of Thanksgiving coming up this week! It's full of adorable critters coming together for the holiday to be thankful and eat way too much! To start, I stamped my images using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on white cardstock, except the trees which were stamped in Distress Ink Peeled Paint . Next, I colored my images and cut them out with scissors.  Then, I began creating the background by inking Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass on white cardstock. I used Lawn Fawn's Puffy Cloud Border Die as a stencil to create a cloudy sky. Afterward, I cut out some grass using Lawn Fawn Die Cut Meadow Borders and inked it with some Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn . I used Picket Fence Studios Blender Brushes for my ink blending. All of the stamp sets I used to build this scene are listed below: Wild For You Mermaid For You Fairy Friends Frosty Fairy Friends Oh Gnome Happy Harvest Critters Ever After Lovable Legends ...
