Hello crafty friends! It's already the middle of December and Christmas is just 12 days away! Today I have a holiday card inspired by the December mood board featuring Paperie Ink stamps. This month's mood board is fabulous and the colors are right up my alley. I created this tri-fold scene card with two Paperie Ink sets, Build a Tree and Like Christmas . I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers and fussy cut them out. For the background, I first ink blended a night sky with Distress oxides ( tumbled glass , chipped sapphire , black soot ). Next I used the Honey Bee Stamps Layering Birch Trees Stencils with Distress Oxides ( weathered wood , picket fence ) to add my forest. I had a happy little accident with those trees-- I thought my first layer of ink was dry before adding the picket fence ink. I noticed the white was not showing up so I added white embossing powder .
