Butterfly Reflections, Ink

Hello Friends!!! Waleska here... Happy Halloween !!! I am so happy to be sharing with you today the last post of the month as a Guest Designer plus today is Halloween and if you know me you know how much I looove making halloween cards...I had (seriously, had) to use the amazing Hello Bluebird stamps and dies for my card today!!! They are adorable and super amazing to mix and match different sets, have you check out their latest release ?? it is amazing... let me share with you my card details.... CARD DETAILS: To create this card I used the Spooky Scene die set which is great to create quick scenes!! I cut this die with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Cardstock .  For the background I used Oxide Inks in colors Wilted Violet and Twisted Citron and added some water splashes.  I die cut the tombs with Lawn Fawn Narwal Cardstock and added black crosses on top.  I colored all the images with markers mostly to match my color palete of purple, black, gray and white.

      Hello friends! Gladys here and I'm back on the blog today to share this winter card. I hope you like it!   For this card I made the background using distress oxide inks  in tumbled glass, shaded lilac and seedless preserves. These adorable images are from Hello Bluebird called Frosty Friends . I colored the bear, reindeer and snowman using copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies . I also used the speech bubble sentiments. I decided to add a frame around my images so I cut a piece of white cardstock using My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames . Lastly, I adhered all the elements using foam tape for dimension and that completes my card. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!!

Hey, crafty friends....It's Heather back to share two scrapbook layouts with you showcasing a matching die and stamp set.  I love using my stamps and dies to create my own backgrounds and embellishments.  Using your dies and stamps makes it easy to personalize your projects! Plus, they are usually the more expensive items in your stash, therefore, the more use they get, the better!   So, I know we are days away from Halloween, but I was so excited to use these Concord & 9th products , I am skipping ahead to Winter...just temporarily...   I love snowflakes and the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry stamp set and matching die is one of my favorites!      The first layout was created using the Snow Flurry stamp set on my background.  I started with a piece of white cardstock and added gesso to prep it before adding mixed media.       First, I stamped the snowflake images randomly with versamark ink , then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder

Hi there, this is Tanya from Studio 5380 . I'm happy to be sharing a sweet, fall-themed shaker card with you today... To create the background for my card, I used Distress Inks in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn along with the Grassy Edges Stencil from My Favorite Things. After inking up my grass, I created a shaker window using the My Favorite Things Stitched Dome Frames Die Set . Next I colored this adorable little Pumpkin Friends image from Stamping Bella and used the coordinating die set to cut it out. Isn't this the sweetest image?! My sentiment is from the Sunny Studios Autumn Greetings stamp set.  I think it is the perfect finish for this sweet card! Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hi everyone Alexandra here sharing more winter/ Christmas projects with you . As you may know by now winter is my all time favourite season , if it was on me I could start decorating now for winter season :)) but what I love and I collect are snow globes . I already have a tiny collection and every year I am adding one more :) So the project for today is featuring snow globes using Lawn Fawn  Ready, set , snow shaker add on die And to start I die cut several times the cardstock using the Lawn Fawn die and then started inking the background of it making sure to mask the bottom part where it suppose to be the snow .For the ink blending I am using  Distress inks and the colors are Chipped Saphire and Salty ocean. Next I started working on the shaker part so I die cut several acetate pieces to fit the shaker window and then using a strong tape I and adding the acetate. Hey y'all! It's Jess and I'm back with another fun card for you this week. I just placed an order from the Butterfly Reflections Ink site this past week and got my super speedy delivery, so I couldn't wait to get crafting with these adorable sets from My Favorite Things. To get started, I stamped out this absolutely adorable girl and her puppy from New Best Friend . I colored her up with Copic markers and then fussy cut her. I stopped cutting when I got to her feet, because I wanted to try a unique way of adding my sentiment this time. Next, I grabbed a scrap from an alcohol ink background I made a while back and trimmed it to match my white cardstock piece. I also cut  down a piece of white cardstock to 4in x 5.25in and then blended on some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. I loved the way this looked with the coloring on the girl's sweater. I used the sentiment, 'I'm so happy you have a new best friend,' and repeatedly stamped in a line

Hey everyone! It's Ashlea, and I'm really excited to be sharing this card I created using the Bountiful Branches layering stamp set by Altenew. If you're familiar with Altenew, you know their layering sets are always swoon-worthy and this set is no exception. I absolutely love the detail on these branches. The looks as if they were drawn right on my card front by an artist. I love seeing these images come together as I'm stamping and seeing the final product. I'm always so surprised that I just created that! Let's get into some details of the card. To begin, I used Catherine Pooler's It's A Boy ink to ink blend my entire 4" x 5 1/4" card front. I love the light blue color and thought it would lend itself really well to a cheery, holiday branch Christmas card. Happy Tuesday everyone!  So glad to be back with you this week.   I am getting ready for Christmas even though it will be in the high 80's and even the low 90's this week.  Recently I ordered a ton of wonderful goodies from the store and couldn't wait to get inky!  Here is a fun shaker tag I made.  Let me walk you through the steps I took to make it.  First I used the Lawn Fawn Say What? Tag Dies and cut out three of the tag bases.  I cut one from white cardstock, one from green Gingham from Sunny Studio  and one from acetate . I then cut10 of the stackable tags out of white cardstock.  I stamped to and love from the Lawn Fawn Tiny Tags Sayings stamp set in Gina K Amalgam Ink , filled the heart in with a red copic marker and adhered the two tags back sides together.  I adhered one of tag frames to the acetate base and the rest of the frames together.  I used Lawn Fawn Glue Tube to adhere them all together and then finally to the green tag base.   I t

Hi everyone, Amanda here with a card I want to share with you!  I'm actually traveling this week to visit my family in beautiful Wisconsin, so taking photos, editing, etc. was a bit of a challenge as I'm out of my element.  I think this photo came out well enough to share with you though! So I started with this beautiful image by Stamping Bella called, Tiny Townie Patricia Loves Pumpkins.  There's also a matching die available if you would choose to diecut the image. I copic colored the image and added tiny highlights with my white gel pen . I added a few sequins and mounted on this pretty turquoise cardstock.  Turquoise and orange is one of my very favorite color combinations.  Maybe a bit different for fall, but I like the way this turned out.   Thank you for joining me, I hope you're enjoying some beautiful fall weather to inspire you to create fall projects!

Hi all! I'm excited to be guesting here on the BRI Blog today! I've used the Lawn Fawn Oh What Fun stamp set and paired it with the Lawn Fawn Happy Village stamp set to create this fun Christmas-y scene. I used the matching dies for both sets to cut out the images. All images were colored with Copics.  I used MFT inks to sponge onto watercolor paper, then spritzed it with water to remove some of the color and create texture. I sponged on white pigment ink then embossed the 'hills' with white embossing powder . The scalloped frame was cut out of kraft cardstock using the MFT Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames die-namics . Hi there friends!  It's Jacquie with a fun guest post today!  I'm a huge fan of florals, floral cards, floral anything. Today I took a lovely cluster of flowers from Altenew and made two cards. I started by stamping all the floral images from the Altenew Dearest  Friend set with Gina K Amalgam ink, and coloring with Copic markers.   For the first card, I fussy cut out the smaller floral cluster and leaf images and made an arrangement on a card panel that I used some blended Distress Ink in Peacock Feathers.  I mounted the arrangement with foam tape.  I stamped the greeting from Altenew Sewn with Love on the corner and finished off by adding some jewels from Pretty Pink Posh . For this card, I decided to create a little window from the Concord and 9th, Blooms Fill in Dies .  I mounted it with foam tape over the floral image.  I used another sentiment from the Altenew Sewn With Love set, and added Pretty Pink Posh jewels as my final embellishment. Hello everyone Alexandra here today and I am sharing with you a winter/ Christmas card using Lawn Fawn  Scalloped Box card pop up and Mama Elephant  Pix's Happy Holiday stamp set  For this card I started by stamping the images from Pix's Happy Holiday stamp set and coloring them using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and then fussy cut them. I also added some details using a white gel pen and some sparkles using Tonic Aqua Glitter gloss pen .For the snow I used a Snow Marker  Once the images were ready I started on working at the box card and for that I took a piece of pattern paper from Lawn Fawn - Snowflake bokeh and die cut the pop up card. Next I started assemble it using a strong tape , and for some of the critters I also used acetate to adhere them in order for them to look like they are flying . Hey friends! It's Jess and I'm sharing this quick and quirky set of mini cards using Maki a Wish from Your Next Stamp. I love this set so much!   I decided to make 3x3 note cards for this, so I cut down some white cardstock to 6in x 3in. This way, when I folded it in half, I had the perfect 3x3 note card. They're so tiny and cute!     I cut smaller pieces for my card fronts - each piece measured 2.75x2.75. I used my Mini MISTI to stamp each note card. I used the Maki a Wish stamp set for this - I absolutely love all of these punny sentiments and adorable little sushi related images. They're adorable! Once all of my sentiments and images were stamped out, I colored them up with my Copic markers. I also took a Clarity Stencil Brush and Hickory Smoke Distress Ink and brushed the front of each card front. This gave me a color contrast between the card front and card base and added a little more interest and depth to my note cards. I mounted my card fr
