Boo Crew Celebrating Halloween 2020

Hello Friends Waleska here craftinglovew to celebrate my favorite part of the year... Halloween with a super cute Slimline card!!! I am super excited to finish my Halloween Card Series 2020 with a Slimline Card full of My Favorite Things products and share with you how I created it. CARD DETAILS: I started by cutting two Slimline card bases and blending the first panel with Wilted Violet Oxide Ink,  only on the top of the panel, I then cut three grass sections from the second panel I used Hickory Smoke Oxide Ink for the grass, I wanted to give a very spooky feel to this scene. I splashed some water to the violet section to create some night stars and also added some silver watercolor.   I adhere the grass sections to the card base and started adding the details of the scene.  I cut three trees from black cardstock and a hauted house from the MFT Haunted House Die-namics , I tuck the first two trees to the grass sections and then I adhere the Haunted House on the top and I put t

Sweet Christmas

Hello crafty friends! Silvia's here today! I'm so happy to be back on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog and I hope you're all safe and healthy at the moment. I made a Christmas card to share with you featuring a lot of Lawn Fawn goodies and I hope you'll like it. I started die cutting a 4,25" x 5,5" stitched rectangle from white cardstock, I ink blended it with tumbled glass (in the center), broken china and peacock feather Distress Oxide inks and I splattered with clean water first and broken china and platinum Nuvo mousse loosened with water then. I stamped images from Lawn Fawn "Milk and Cookies" , "Snow much fun" , and "Den sweet Den"  stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them. I then used the pink cardstock from Lawn Fawn "Shimmer Cardstock Pastel"   to die cut 3 times the "Merry" scripty  and  white glitter cardstock to die cut some snowflakes with "Mini Snowflakes

Santa and the Mrs.

Happy Thursday to all of you crafty people!  It's Amanda Fitterer back with you today sharing one last card for October!   When I saw Mama Elephant's Santa Baby stamp set , I immediately imagined peeking through Santa and Mrs. Claus's window and seeing them share a sweet moment.  I knew I needed to make a card like this!   To create this scene, I used Heffy Doodle's Stitched Rectangle Dies and Studio Katia's European Window Die . To create my bricks, I used the Salvaged Brick Stencil by Honey Bee Stamps and Candied Apple Distress Oxide .  I masked off where my window will be using Heffy Doodle Memo Tape . Next, I masked off the brick to create a "light" inside the room using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide . Next, I stamped my images from the Santa Baby Stamp Set and the Toasty Friends Stamp Set .  I colored my images with Copic markers. Then, I adhered everything together using 3D foam squares, strips, and liquid glue! Such a sweet moment they're

Happy Fall

Hi everyone! Tina here with a Fall inspired card featuring some adorable stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn.  I just love the new Acorn House Die and cut it out using some different colored brown card stock. I also cut out the vines, leaves and flowers using white card stock and colored them using Copics. I stamped, embossed and Copic colored the adorable squirrels from the Cheery Christmas stamps . I cut the images using my ScanN Cut but you can also use the coordinating Cheery Christmas Lawn Cuts coordinating dies.   For the background I ink blended both the base layer and the grass layer that was cut using the My Favorite Things Grassy Hills Die-namics.  I used Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber and Squeezed Lemonade.  For the grass I used Mowed Lawn, Bundled Sage, Shabby Shutters and Twisted Citron.  The Hello Fall sentiment is from the Hello Bluebird Fall Friends stamps . I stamped the sending love sentiment inside the door using the Lawn Fawn Say What? Christmas Cri

Hello Bootiful with Davina

Hello my Bootiful Friends! Davina here, with some October Moodboard Inspiration. I made a really fun Shaker-Slimline card using a mixture of new and old products that I hope you’ll love just as much as I do. The colors this month were very bold fall colors of a deep berry, yellow, orange, and olive green. I used a very dark palette of mostly black and accented the colors to create my project.  I used some just released slimline stamps from Trinity stamps to create this incredible branch frame. This set  All Spruced Up  was just dropped yesterday, and intended for beautiful Christmas cards. But I wanted to make a spooky card, so I stamped it in black on gray cardstock. Then, after using the matching die to easily cut it out, I inked the edges of the slimline panel with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink. I stamped a few of the pine cones and branches in black and gray to accent the top. And I love how stamping in Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink showed up so well on the gray card.  Next,

2 Cards, 1 Design

Happy Friday, Everyone! Allison here, and I'm happy to be back on the blog today sharing a pair of slimline holiday cards. I used a bunch of new MFT products, all of which can be found in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink. online shop . I have been wanting to use this " Merry and Bright " stamp as a background, and it turns out that it works perfectly for a slimline card. So, I began my cards as I do with so many of my other slimline cards, and that is with the Mama Elephant Slim Card Basics die set. I cut a panel out of both pink and green paper. I figured while I was stamping one panel, why not make two? After playing around with the spacing a little bit, I stamped the pink paper with pink ink and the green paper with green ink. The pink ink ended up being more of a tone on tone look. The green ink was a bit more bold. Honestly, I was going for something in between, but you can't win 'em all! While I had my die set out, I went ahead and cut a white scalloped bord

Holiday Shaker Tags

Hello and good day!  It's Amanda Fitterer here and  I am excited to share these super sweet holiday tags with you!  To make my tag base, I used Heffy Doodle's Tag Along Dies .  I love these dies because they're so versatile and they were made for shakers! For my images, I am using Hero Arts Intensified Black ink to stamp  Mama Elephant's Santa Baby Stamp Set and Toasty Friends Stamp Set. I colored my images with Copic markers. I created my shaker elements by mixing Dress My Craft's Carnival Candies , Crystal Ice Cubes , Frosted Sugar Powder , and Coffee Carnival Mix . These tags will sure be cute on some gifts for family, friends, or coworkers!   Thank you so much for stopping by the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog!  We are so happy you're here and  hope that you feel super inspired!  Xoxo, Amanda

Happy Halloween

Hi everyone! Tina here with a fun Halloween card featuring the adorable kitty from the Pretty Pink Posh Halloween Pals stamps and coordinating dies . This is definitely one of my favorite Halloween stamps yet! I stamped, embossed and colored up the images using Copic markers. For the background I ink blended using the Milled Lavender, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord and Black Soot Distress Inks. I used a circle die to cut a window on the top panel and popped up the kitty using double sided foam adhesive.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment and the little paw prints and splattered some stars over the blended background. Finally I added some sequins and the bats using glittered cardstock and the die from the Lawn Fawn Build-a House Halloween Add on Dies.   Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you like my card :) Have a great day!!
