Powerful Words

Hi Everyone!  It's Jenny here and I'm so happy to be joining again to guest on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog!  Today I'm sharing three cards with you, which are pretty simple, but the possibilities are endless.  I'm using a combination of alpha dies (you can use any you like but my cards all use the Altenew Bold Alphabet and Concord & 9th Double-Cut Alphabet ) paired with stencils and patterned paper. The aim of my cards was to create my own custom sentiment, but I wanted it to be one word, which evoked an emotion, something that stood on its own as a powerful word.  I also wanted to use some of the gorgeous patterned paper BRI carries, that is JUST TOO PRETTY TO CUT darn it :) My first card uses the 6x6 My Mind's Eye In Bloom paper pad from which I selected a page with a gorgeous floral pattern on it.  There are similar beautiful (gold!) florals in the Heart of Home pad .  I die cut the word 'strong' using the Concord & 9th Double-c...

Absolutely Fabulous Rose Gold Embossing Paste!

Happy Hump Day!   Kimberly here, and today I have a card to share that uses no stamps....zip, zero, nada!    Now let me tell you.....that is a rare thing in my craft room, lol!!  SUPPLIES Bo Bunny Rose Gold Glitter Paste MFT Chunky Herringbone Stencil  MFT Die-Namics - Absolutely Fabulous  Glossy Accents  I started with a piece of black cardstock and spread the Rose Gold Glitter Paste over top of the stencil.   The glitter adds such a wow factor when used on dark cardstock!!   I tried it out on white as well and it's equally amazing.   Since the background was so fabulous (ha ha!!), I wanted to keep the rest of the card simple, so I die cut the 'Absolutely' from raspberry cardstock and after adding some Glossy Accents to the letters, I mounted it to a black strip and adhered it to the center of my card.  To make the 'fabulous' word die stand out, I die cut it from both black and white cardstock and offs...

Dream Birds

Heyyyyy, Butterfly Reflections, Ink peeps! It's Erin, Erin from the block, y'all! Allow me to introduce myself.... My name is Erin Lee Schreiner and I live in a suburb of Dallas, Texas with my hubs, three little minions (8 year old girl, 2 year old boy and a 7 month old girl), a doggie and a kitty. Life is rather exhausting most days but I wouldn't change it for the world. When I can come up to breathe, I love to escape to my craft room for a little creative therapy and play with paper, ink and stamps. When paper crafting, I have a slight obsession with birds and gold, amongst other things. Sooooo when I saw this amazing By Your Side die from Concord & 9th, I immediately snatched it right up. I also loved the fonts on the Written In the Stars stamp set . I paired some My Favorite Things Dies with the cool pattern papers from BoBunny's Candy Cane Lane 6x6 paper pad for some fun layers. Be sure to head over to the shop to pick up your favorite new goodies!...

I Know You Layout

Hello! And happy Father's Day to everyone out there! Samantha here with you today, and I don't have a Father's Day project for you...sigh. I know, what's wrong with me?! Ha! But I do have an awesome layout to share that I created with the June Mood Board! Need a mood board picture refresher? Yeah, I am in LOVE! So let's dive into my layout, shall we? First, I used some Distress Ink (Squeezed Lemonade and Spun Sugar) to create the watercolored background. Then I used LOTS of goodies to embellish in the pinks and blues from the mood board! I used stickers from the Rise and Shine Amy Tangerine Collection , and wood buttons from Dear Lizzy and Shimelle collections! I used some of my favorite Thickers to create the title, along with some tiny alpha stickers from My Minds Eye ! Oh, and I can't forget about those sweet little pinky enamel stickers - those are from the Pool Side collection ! LOVE! Oh, I forgot to mention! I used pap...

Remember me?

Hey all, Danielle Here.  Remember my first layout I did a few weeks back?  If you don't click here . I told you would see the MFT - Cloud Cover Up Die again!!!  Here I show you how I used the other part of the die I saved from that layout.  I really love how these cards turned out. I used Lawn Fawn - Love you SMORE and made the little faces pop thru the clouds.  I love them they are so cute!  For this card I just used an ombre colored paper and put that behind with some foam adhesive for some depth.  I added a heart wood veneer from Studio Calico and dipped it in some white paint.  You can get the products I used from the Butterfly Reflections Ink store . A fun layout!

Hello!  Danielle here with a layout to inspire you with!  Let me tell you a little bit about me first! I live in "sometimes" Sunny Central Florida (it's been awful rainy lately) with my fiancé. I have two fur babies that you will see often in my projects. Sidney a mini dachshund and Nash our Tuxedo Cat.  Crafty has been my middle name since I was little. Always, coloring or making something to keep me busy when I was young.  I have been scrapbooking and card making for a while now ( I truly lost count!).  When I am not crafting you can find me on my Scooter zooming around town and watching The Walking Dead!  Now on to the layout!!!  I used two paper pads Amy Tan - Plus One and Bo Bunny - Lemonade Stand , which you can find in the store. To accent my photos I was dying to use the SN@P 3 x 4 Cat Cards .  You know they are not just for pocket style scrapbooking!!!  You can use them on cards, layouts and more!  I chose a heart a...
