Hello Card

Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with my last card for this DT term. I can't believe how fast and how amazing these past 4 months have been! Today, I'm sharing a Hello card using Pinkfresh Studio and Honey Bee Stamps .  I started by cutting some white cardstock down to A2 card size. I then put the card in my Misti Tool and stamped the pretty flower border from the Pinkfresh Studio Charming Floral Border stamp set. I colored in the stamp with Copic markers. It's hard to see in the picture, but I also added in a shadow outline in N0 Copic to add a little dimension.  When I finished coloring, I moved on to the sentiment. I stamped the small sentiment from the same Charming Floral stamp set in clear Versamark and embossed it with white Ranger Embossing Powder .  I then stamped the hello from the Honey Bee Stamps Bitty Buzzwords set. I just love this set because it's so versatile! I popped up the hello with some foam adhesive and glued down the 2nd sentiment flat...

Have a Really Cool Christmas Card

Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with a new mini slimline shaker Christmas card!  I have been wanting to try making a full shaker card and a mini slimline, so I combined them! I started with the largest of Lawn Fawn's new Large Mini Slimline Stackables dies. I die cut one slimline card base from white cardstock and one from white glitter cardstock to use as snow later. I then ink blended the sky with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide . I added in some snow and stars to the sky with Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Paste  with a stencil. While the paste was drying, I colored the stamped images. I stamped the car and tiny deer from the Car Critters and Car Critters Christmas Add-Ons sets. The cute Yeti and trees are from the Yeti or Not . All the images are colored with Copic markers.  I took the glitter cardstock mini slimline I die cut earlier and used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders to make snow drifts on either side of the card. In the middle of the card, where ...

Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with a Christmas card featuring Lawn Fawn's Special Delivery stamp set and the Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On .  I started by die cutting out some patterned paper with the largest Large Stitched Rectangle and also die cut some coordinating patterned paper with the largest Stitched Rectangle Frames . I die cut the birdhouse eaves out of white woodgrain cardstock . I then cut out the Christmas lights using the Build A House Christmas Add-On . I colored the lights in different colors to add a little more than just red and green to the card. I wanted the center of the card to look like the bird's house so I added in the Christmas tree scene from Snow Globe Scenes .   After I finished the birdhouse, I moved on to the Christmas Cardinals. I stamped the paren...

Merry Christmas Penguin Card

Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with a brand new Christmas card!  I started by die cutting the front panel using Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Add-On . I then ink-blended the background using Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides. I let the panel dry while I colored and die cut the cute penguin and igloo from Lawn Fawn's Penguin Party  stamp set.  Once the panel was dry, I added on the snowflakes by using Lawn Fawn White Paste with the new Snowflake Stencil . I haven't used stencil paste very much but it was super easy to use and I'll definitely be using it more! While the paste dried, I die cut the rest of the pieces for the Magic Iris mechanism and ink blended the parts that would show to match the panel. I put the Magic Iris together and inked a snowflake on the opening to match the panel. When the panel was dry, I assembled everything and attached the penguin, igloo and sign.  To finish up the card, I embossed the sentiment Merry Christmas with w...

Teacher Appreciation Cards

Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with some teacher appreciation cards. My son asked me to make cards for all of his teachers, not just his two main classroom teachers. So I knew I'd better make some simpler cards so I could get them all done in time.  I started by cutting 110lb. white cardstock to 3.25 x 6.5 and scored it in the middle to make a square card. I added just a little color in the middle with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and added some splatters with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide .  I then stamped and die cut the cute little mice and leaves from the Lawn Fawn You Autumn Know stamp set. I centered them in the middle of the card. I then stamped the sentiment in Jet Black Lawn Fawn ink. To finish off the card, I die cut Stitched Scalloped Square Frames in different Lawn Fawn patterned paper.  I hope I've given you some great ideas for Teacher Appreciation Cards! Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful day!

Happy Spooky Month! Stephanie here with a Lawn Fawn Halloween card!  I started with an A2 sized card that I cut with Lawn Fawn's Large Stitched Rectangle dies. I created the nighttime sky by using Distress Oxides in Wilted Violet , Seedless Preserves , Dusty Concord , Chipped Sapphire and just a bit of Black Soot . I then splattered a little bit of water and Black Soot . I thought it needed a bit more so I added Lawn Fawn's new Fairy Dust Paste with their Starry Sky Stencil .  To make the creepy black hills, I used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Borders  and used Distress Oxide Pumice Stone to add a little fog. I used Lawn Fawn's Spooky Village stamp set and added some cracks  for extra creepiness. I love the cute little ghosts floating around! To make my favorite part of this card, the flying little witch, I used the girl from Lawn Fawn's Bicycle Built for Two stamp set. Pinkfresh Studio Flowers Card with the BRI Moodboard

Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with a card inspired by the BRI September Moodboard!  I just love these colors! As soon as I saw them, I knew they'd be perfect for a flower card.  To make this slimline card I used Pinkfresh Studio's beautiful Miss Your Smile stamp set. That big flower is just so pretty! I stamped it with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and then heat embossed it with Ranger's Clear Embossing Powder so that the ink would look bold and not smear. After that, I used the coordinating Miss Your Smile Layering Stencils . I've never used layering stencils before but they were so easy to use. I'll definitely be using them again! I used Distress Oxides in abandoned coral , worn lipstick , and cracked pistachio to ink the flower and leaves.  I heat embossed the sentiment with Ranger's white embossing powder  on black cardstock. I topped it off with some metallic watercolor  and sequins. Thanks so much for checking out my card and don't forget to stop b...

Have a Happy Day! Card

Hi Crafty Friends! My name is Stephanie and today I'm sharing my first card on the blog! I just love making fall cards so for today's card, I used Lawn Fawn's Let's Go Nuts , The S'more the Merrier and Really High Five  stamp sets.  To start, I used Broken China Distress Oxide for the sky and My Favorite Things Grassy Fields diecut to set the scene. I cut out one of the trees from Lawn Fawn's Lift The Flap Tree Backdrop  and topped it by using the Simple Puffy Cloud Frames as tree tops. To give the tree tops a fall look, I used Spiced Marmalade and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxides. I also used some Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide as watercolor to add some little splatters to the tree tops.  My favorite part of the card is the little bunny jumping in the leaves! I used Lawn Fawn's Let's Toast Pull Tab  to make him jump up and down. Using this interactive die is so easy, I definitely recommend trying it if you haven't yet! I used Copics to ...
