Boo to You!

Hello, Crafty Friends! This is Tiffany and today I'm sharing my "Boo to You" card. I'm absolutely loving all of the Hello Bluebird items I've purchase from the Butterfly Reflections, Ink. online store. I began my card by ink blending the background, I used a golden yellow and two shades of orange to create an ombre effect. I spritzed water and splattered some orange and black water based paint to finish off the background. I used Lawn Fawn's Just Stitching Rectangles to add the stitched pattern on the ink blended background, I then adhered it to a black piece of card stock. I stamped images from Hello Bluebird's Tabitha and Ghostly Greetings stamp sets in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, cut them out, and colored them with Copic markers. I used Hello Bluebird's Boo to You die and cut the sentiment out three times using black card stock, I used  Tombo Mono glue to stack the three sentiments together to add extra dimension. Big Thanks, Metallic Watercolor Style

Hello everyone! It's Jenny here, with my first ever post as a DT member for Butterfly Reflections Ink - sqweeee! OK, now that's out of the way... My card this week features the gorgeous Finetec metallic watercolor paints .  These are seriously shimmery watercolors, with plenty of mica to help them sparkle.  They come in a rainbow of beautiful colours, and the best thing is you can pick the singles you love and pop them into your palette, even though they're dry pans.  To get the most from them I recommend dripping/spritzing some water on them first, leave for 5 mins to soak in, then add a little more water and stir.  That really gets the mica sparkling. I took a panel of watercolor cardstock and wet it liberally.  I then created a wash of fall colors going from brown, red, orange, and yellow with some basic watercolor paints (I used  Peerless , but it doesn't really matter, use anything you have, it's just to create a base layer ).  When ...

Just Wanted to Say Hello!

Hello there! Amber here with a quick card to share with you today :) I've been playing with my Altenew Halftone Hello stamp set again, can't put it down! I paired it with MME's On Trend papers from the 6x6 pad. I love these papers, they all have gold foil accents, they're so pretty! I cut the chat bubble with MFT's Stitched Speech Bubble die and stamped the sentiment. I used Hero Arts Ombre inks for the hello, it's the mint to teal pad, so gorgeous! The arrows and heart are from the On Trend Mixed Bag Die Cuts.   The gold scallops were cut from foil cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Border Lawn Cuts! That's all I have today, thanks for popping in!
