Butterfly Reflections, Ink

Hello everyone, I'm here guesting with a Lawn Fawn card for you today. Our family enjoys camping and makes us happy but tenting it isn't always fun in rainy weather so we thought we would get a trailer.  So this card is inspired by our upcoming camping season and I can't wait to see all those beautiful stars in the night sky. Now on to my card. I used the LF Happy trails stamps and dies and coloured them in with my copics (colours listed below). I used clear embossing powder to stamp the stars from Upon a Star stamp set and heat set with me heat gun. Then I used Black Soot and Faded Jeans and blended them for the night sky and took a dry tissue and wiped off the excess ink. I then blended in the Peeled Paint for the grass. I stamped the trailer and trees on white card stock with Copic Friendly black ink and colour them in with my copics and cut them out with the matching dies.  I added them to the card with foam tape.  To give it a bit of dimension I ad

Happy Thursday crafty friends, Ashley D. here again!   Today I have a simple card I created to accompany a little gift basket I put together to welcome a newcomer to our scenic little town.  I began by ink blending a sky backdrop from Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean onto Bristol Smooth cardstock, die cut with Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables (trimmed to 3.25” square).   For the scenic backdrop, I die cut mountains in kraft brown and white cardstocks using Lawn Fawn Stitched Mountain Borders .   I added a forest scape by die cutting tree and grass lines using Lawn Fawn Forest Border and Lawn Fawn Simple Grassy Hillsides in green cardstock.   I sponged a bit of Memento Cottage Ivy ink to the tops of the trees and tips of grass blades for a little added dimension.   For the street, I used the Lawn Fawn Simple Road Border , die cut in black and yellow cardstock.     I stamped the house, car, and moving boxes from Lawn Fawn Happy Village

Hey there, BRI, friends - Kathy here!  It's really coming...Spring that is!  Today I'm sharing a project that's bursting with spring!  I started by creating the card gift box using the Lawn Fawn Gift Box Die cut from Lawn Fawn Kraft cardstock.  This box is very easy to put together and all the scoring is done for you!  The box front is covered with a pattern from the Lawn Fawn Gotta Have Gingham paper pad . The circle, cut from a pattern in the Lawn Fawn Knock On Wood paper pad using one of the Altenew Halftone Circles Nesting dies , was placed in the center as a backdrop.  The ribbon and bow included in the Lawn Fawn Gift Box Die was cut from Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Spring paper pad . The flower pots used on the box top and little gift cards were created cutting cardstock and coordinating pattern paper using the Little Flowers dies . Happy Tuesday crafty friends! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Danielle here up on the BRI blog today with fun Easter card featuring Lawn Fawn Eggstra Amazing Easter stamp set .  With Easter right around the corner, I figure it's not too early to start my cards for family and friends. I started off my card with a plain white card base.  I then trimmed down another piece of Lawn Fawn Peacock cardstock a little bit shorter for my second layer and adhered to my card base using tape adhesive . For my top layer, I used the new Lawn Fawn Spring Fling 6x6 paper pack and trimmed it shorter than my previous layer and adhered using foam adhesive..  I love that this paper pack comes with 12 different patterns and is perfect for spring.  For the die cut center, I used Lawn Fawn Reversed Stitched Scalloped Circle Window die . This created the cute scalloped center in my patterned panel.  I ran this die through my cutting machine again this time on a white piece of cardstock so I

Hello, lovelies!  Toni here with you sharing some of my favorite types of images--gnomes and fairies! I started my card by airbrushing Copics through a stencil. I love the dreamy effect. The Lawn Fawn Mushroom House nestles perfectly in the scene with the walkway. I diecut the mushroom cap out of Doodlebug Design French Kiss paper . Those tiny tiny hearts are adorable. Next I stamped the Lawn Fawn Oh Gnome and Mama Elephant Little Fairy Agenda images with Memento Tuxedo Black . I colored them up using mostly the same Copics I had used with the stencil. I add a bit of Copic shading here and there on the background as well btw. Final touches included stamping the Lawn Fawn Oh Gnome sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black and adding Clear Wink of Stella to the fairy wings. Sparkle on, little fairies! Hello, it's Amanda   and I'm here today featuring a GORGEOUS stamp/die combo by Avery Elle called Hummingbird . I was so happy to see this set in the shop because it's one that I'd been wanting to color up for a while. I love hummingbirds and it's just about time to get my feeders out and enjoy the return of these beauties to South Carolina! So I stamped out the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Copic colored them. (for a list of colors used, see below) . I die cut using the coordinating dies . I used Broken China distress ink on my white panel cut slightly smaller than my dark purple A2 sized card base. I added a bit of white paint splatter over the inked area.  I then white heat embossed the word "wonderful" on black cardstock and cut it out. I stamped the rest of the sentiment above and below which I like the look of.  I assembled the scene with Fuchsia hanging down and the hummer approaching to feed.  A few sequins and my card i

Hi there!  It's Andrea filling in today, and I'm delighted to be back with you all.  Do you ever buy products when they come out because you just have to them and then never get around to using them?  Well, that's the case for the card I'm sharing today: I have had these stamps and dies for ages and only just got around to playing with them (head hangs in shame).  These stamps dies might be "old" in the papercrafting world (Age is relative, right?), but they are still so cute!  I stamped those adorable images from the Hello Bluebird Jungle Littles stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink  onto Bristol Smooth paper.  After watercoloring them with my Zigs, I cut them out and added some highlights with a white gel pen . Using Lawn Fawn's Shadow Box Card Die , I die-cut two card panels and the two hills from Neenah Desert Storm cardstock.  I scored the lines with a bone folder and placed ScorTape on the tabs.  I adhered the panels together on one

Happy Friday Friends! It is  Dana  here today sharing a fun card and tag set using some products from  Lawn Fawn . For my card, I began by creating my background. I used the  Lawn Fawn: Mushroom Border Dies  for both my row of mushrooms and the grass. I love how both pieces are included with this die set! I mounted these onto a piece of paper from the  Lawn Fawn: Watercolor Wishes 6x6 Paper Pad . This is the perfect paper pad for backgrounds...it looks like you watercolored or ink blended the background, but without all of the work. For my images, I used the  Lawn Fawn: Oh Gnome! Stamp Set . I stamped my images with  Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam Ink  and colored them with  Copic Markers . Next, I used the  Lawn Fawn: Oh Gnome! Lawn Cuts  to die cut all of my images. I attached them to my card front with  Foam Adhesive . To finish my card, I attached my card panel onto my A2 card base. Next, I began working on my tags. I used the  Lawn Fawn: Mushroom House Die

Happy Thursday crafty friends, Ashley D. here.   The recent Lawn Fawnatics blog challenge – “inspired by a book, movie, or song” really got my wheels turning and it made me think of one of my late father’s favorite musicals, and one of our favorite songs growing up – the Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic “My Favorite Things.”   And coincidentally, this month also happens to be the 54 th anniversary of the release of film adaptation of The Sound of Music.   Oh, and the tune is also getting some attention again, reinterpreted in the current chart-topper “7 Rings” by Ariana Grande.   So I just knew I had to turn it into fun card!     I revisited all 13 items listed in the song, wanting each to be represented, so I started by die cutting a frame from the Mama Elephant Grid Window die in white cardstock (the Mama Elephant Circular Grid die would work too), and backed it with a background created by   ink-blending Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade onto Bristol Smooth
