Beary Cozy Christmas Card

Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with a Beary Cozy Christmas card!  To make the front of the card, I started by using Distress Oxide in Fired Brick and Aged Mahogany with the brick stencil to make the wall of the outside of the house. I then used Lawn Fawn's new Window Frame die with white woodgrain cardstock . I added in some red Christmas lights that I cut with a die from the Build A House Christmas Add On set. I then die cut some snowdrifts using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders and lightly blended Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass . I added in some cute squirrels from the Let's Go Nuts set playing in the snow. I splattered some white acrylic paint mixed with water to make it snow.  The inside of the card took a little more work. I started by stamping all the images I planned on using. I used the Christmas Tree , gifts and ornaments from Joy To All , the bears and frame from Den Sweet Den and the sofa from Window Scene Winter . I also made a little rug for the slee...

Cozy Bear Scene Changing Card

Hi crafty friends! I have a confession: I am a patterned paper hoarder. I have paper from a decade ago that I still haven't used up because I think they are too pretty or too cute to use. Or I had a project I bought the papers for and I have long since abandoned the project. So I was super excited and super proud of myself for using some of my patterned paper in today's card! And I love scene changing type of cards so this card was a double win for me!  For today's card, I used multiple stamp sets to create this cozy scene. I stamped out images from several Lawn Fawn sets ( Den Sweet Den , Purrfectly Wicked , Window Scene: Winter , and Car Critters ). For the flowers in the vase, I used an image from The Cat's Meow by Mama Elephant and extended the stem with a black pen. To create the picture frame, I masked off the words and string from the frame in Den Sweet Den and stamped the little bear from Car Critters. For the couch and pillows, I stamped the images directly on...
Hello everyone, it's Peter here again and I'm back with some more crafty inspiration. Friends of mine recently became mom and dad again, so of course I had to make them a card! Since I made a cloud plushie as a gift, I wanted to include a lot of clouds on the card as well. Well, All The Clouds from Lawn Fawn is perfect for that!  I always like to include the name of the baby on the card, one of my favorite die sets to do that is the Oliver Stitched ABCs from Lawn Fawn. I die cut it out of yellow cardstock and made a little color gradient by blending some Distress Oxide Spiced Marmalade with a blending brush . I wanted the background to be cloudy as well, so I used one of my favorite stencils to achieve that; the Cloudy Stencil from Lawn Fawn. My favorite ink to combine that with is Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass . I blended the edges with some Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon and that's also what I used to splatter the background. The card is slimline sized and I used the ...

Cute Bookmarks with Butterfly Kisses

Hi everyone! It's Peggy here and today I am sharing two cute bookmarks with images from the Lawn Fawn Butterfly Kisses and Den Sweet Den stamp sets. I am an avid reader and find myself in need of new bookmarks all the time. They are also fun as a small gift or to accompany a book you are gifting to a friend. I was thrilled with the release of the Den Sweet Den stamp set because it is currently the only Lawn Fawn set featuring books.  You can make these bookmarks in any size you like. I used 12x12 paper, but you can also use a 6x6 paper pad. I used the Into the Woods remix paper pack.  I cut the patterned paper and some white cardstock with my guillotine trimmer. First I used Violet's ABCs to spell out the bookish quotes. I cut the white cardstock just under the quote. You can use any type of die you like for this. I used a speechbubble die and a cloud die. Behind the small opening I stuck a different piece of patterned paper and distressed the upper edge of the bottom panel ...
