Fly away home - Sharna W.

Hello again, Sharna here, back with another post! Today I played with the All Year Cheer stamp set from WPlus9 along with some dies from Lawn Fawn. As soon as I saw this set I just fell in love with these birds. Aren't they just adorable? I just couldn't get enough.         I made another set in blue & green hues also.   Supplies: All Year Cheer stamp set - Wplus9 Flamingo Sequin Mix - Lucy's Cards Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables - Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Circle Stackables - Lawn Fawn

Shadow Stamping Birthday Card

Hey Everyone, its Trish here today sharing a project with you all! This card was created for MFT Camp Create Day #5 which was all about shadow stamping.  This card features my new favorite stamp set from MFT "Make a Wish" and a ton of Lawn Fawn Ink . I like to call this type of card a One Hit Wonder Card; in that you only need 1 stamp set to create the whole card.  I love challenging myself to create cards using only one stamp set, it makes me stretch my stamps little further. I'm starting out with a 5.5"x5.5" base to create a card big enough to fit all of the candle on my card and my kraft card stock measures 5.25" x 5.25".  Before stamping the candles, I marked with a pencil the half way points on each side of my craft card stock so that my candles would be spaced out evenly.  Using my Tim Holtz Scissors , I performed some stamp surgery and separated one of the candles from its group.  I then began stamping my candles in Lawn Fawn Yeti In

Kind Words Cost Nothing...

Hello!  It is Lisa Lahiff here with you today, and I'm so happy to share a quick and elegant card with all of you today... I am a sucker for great quotes and the Beautiful Quotes Stamp Set by Altenew is wonderful!!!  The sentiments in this set really grab my heart every time, like the one on this card.  For my background I started by stamping various images from the Wild Hibiscus Stamp Set also by Altenew with their Glacier Caves Mini Inks .  I then die cut the panel out with Lawn Fawn's Stitched Large Rectangles .  I then paneled my sentiment with some silver mirror paper and popped it up with foam adhesive. Thanks so much for stopping by and don't miss out on the new goodies that are constantly coming into the shop! Happy Crafting/Shopping! Lisa

You & Me

I am so sad to be writing this, but this will be my last entry for the Butterfly Reflections Ink Design Team. I feel like I just started this journey and now it's coming to an end. I am excited to see the new team and all of their awesome talent though!  So let's take a look at my last layout! Using more of the Amy Tangerine Collections  Better Together  &  Finders Keepers  I wanted to bring in some more of the colors from the beautiful pattern papers. So I went in with my watercolors and did a little mixed media.   I also wanted to stick with a circle theme, since there were a couple of circle pieces from the  Ephemera Pack  I popped a couple up and left the rest to lay flat on the paper, to give it some interest. I also used some cut files from  Ashley Horton  These cut files are actually a challenge that Ashley and  Missy Whidden  have going on, which is called Stretch Your Sketch. You should go check it out and download your free cut files!  Well I

Love You Tons

Hi there!  It's Lorraine ( Created by Lorraine ) sharing my last card as part of Butterfly Reflections Ink's Design Team.  Though I am sad to leave, I am incredibly thankful to Vanessa for giving me such an amazing opportunity to grow as a crafter and share my work.  What a great experience!  As a small token of my gratitude, I packed a whole lot of love into this project... To make this card, I first stamped, colored (with copics) and die cut the images using a number of Lawn Fawn products, including Love You Tons stamps and dies for the elephants and sentiment; Year Four stamp and die for the balloon. I also used Lawn Fawn lawn cuts, Say Cheese , to make the picture frame.  I then die cut the sun and clouds from Lawn Fawn patterned paper , using the Spring Showers lawn cuts. Then I assembled the shaker card.  I adhered clear acetate to the picture frame with glue, then adhered narrow strips of foam adhesive to the back.  I then cut a piece of patterned p

Hi friends!   Kimberly here today to share a monstrously cute card using the new Monster Love stamp set from MFT!!   I just had to have this stamp set the second I saw it....the little monsters are too cute to resist! SUPPLIES Amy Tangerine - Better Together Glitter Washi Lawn Fawn - Stitched Rectangles MFT - Monster Love Stamp Set MFT - Monster Love Die Set Ranger - White Embossing Powder Lawn Fawn Ink - Juice Box Versafine - Onyx Black Ink I created my focal panel by criss-crossing the three glitter washi tapes across a black piece of cardstock and then used a stitched rectangle to die cut the panel.  I found a spot to tuck the sentiment in and stamped with Versafine, added white embossing powder and heat embossed. The monster was stamped and die cut and positioned on LOTS of foam tape for dimension! { Me waving bye - see you again soon!! }  This is a super simple card, but I love it!   Today is my last post for BRI, and while I'm sad my term is com

Congratulations !

Hi Everyone! It's Karin from  PeppermintPatty's Papercraft , here to share some inspiration. For today's card I've played with some adorable products from Lawn Fawn. I know, I'm waiting for the new release too but was inspired to use the adorable fairies! I diecut my stitched rectangle and then simply stamped a little scene and colored with copic markers. I stamped the script sentiment but had to mask the edges of my rectangle so the edges of the script didn't go all the way out. I then I matted my rectangle to some pink cardstock before adhereing to my cardbase with foam adhesive. For a little dimension I created a little bow from pink cardstock and adhered at the top. Still Younger Than You, Crazy Dog!

Happy Sunday, BRI friends! I'm Janette and I'm bringing you a card made for one of my besties who has a birthday today. Shh, don't tell her... I won't see her until Tuesday! The Crazy Dog stamp set is just too fun! So many doggies to create so many paper crafts! I chose this guy with a few accessories and colored them with Distress Crayons in Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Festive Berries, Black Soot, Antique Linen, Chipped Sapphire and a water brush . The background was easy peasy with Color Burst watercolor powders . I saturated the watercolor paper with clear water and spritzed a bit of Lemon Yellow across the paper. I waited for the water to dry a tad and added a sprinkle of Sepia to my craft mat. I then picked it up with a damp brush and drew it across the watercolor paper. The Sepia creeped up into the yellow creating a grassy look in which Fido could play. Add a touch of water for a blended look below. I stamped the sentiment from the Taylor

Smiling in the Sunshine Layout

Hello! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a layout of (pause for effect...) Vanessa's daughter!!! ha ha ha!! So here's the short story, that photo is just ADORABLE!! And when Vanessa posted it , I told her what a sweet photo it was and she jokingly asked me if I wanted to scrapbook it for her...so...YES!! And Vanessa, it's in the mail, coming your way! Ha! Ok, to the layout! I started by using some Distress Paints in Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass ! I just poured the colors onto the cardstock and used a paintbrush to make the large circle! Love it! This could also be done with any kind of watercolors you have, too! I layered behind the photo with a bunch of FUN papers from the Studio Calico Baxter and Basic Grey B Side 6x6 papers! I did lots of embellishing with the Fancy Pants Life is Beautiful Ephemera ! Love those little guys! Ha! The title was created with the goooooorgeous Crush Gold Thickers from Pebbles ! The title works for this page, bu

Better Together

Hi guys!! I am back with another layout using my Amy Tangerine Collections. I named this title after one of the collections because I find it fitting for the picture. When opening up these  Paper   Pads  I had a hard time choosing just a couple of them, so I decided to use a few of them and combined them together. I always see people ask "how do I use these acetate pieces?" So I figured I would use a couple to show you how I use  these  once's from the ephemera pack. I also loved these  Puffy Sticker . They work great on layouts and Planners. I love the way puffy stickers feel, they are just fun to play with.  I decided to go for this triangle pattern for a bit of interest. I layered the back of each triangle to bring in more color and pattern. I also just did a touch of mixed media with my black acrylic paint. Well I hope you all enjoyed this and be looking out for my process video over on my YouTube Channel!  XOXOX Megan

Let's Celebrate!

Hi all!  It's Lorraine here ( Created by Lorraine)  sharing a fun sequin shaker card using Neat & Tangled's Big Top Birthday stamps and dies . To make this card, I first stamped the bear, banner, hat, and sweets on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink .  Then I used the Big Top Birthday dies to cut out the images.  For the background, I masked off the sides of my card base and blended distress inks ( Tim Holtz peacock feathers and squeezed lemonade ) onto the card base. For the shaker feature of this card, I die cut a circle in my card panel, glued a piece of acetate over the circle, and then added an insane amount of foam adhesive all over. My favorite part of the process: I spread a mix of sequins to the card base and then removed the backs of the foam tape from the card panel.  (Make sure that the sequins are confined to the space that will eventually be enclosed within the foam tape) Next, I carefully placed the card panel on the

Getting More From Your Stencils!

Hi there, crafty friends!   Kimberly here today to share a fun way to get  more mileage from your stencils!   I used a stencil from Neat & Tangled, Zig watercolor markers and heat embossing to get this look! You are my sunshine !

Hi Everyone! It's Karin from PeppermintPatty's Papercraft , here to share some inspiration. For today's card I've played with a wonderful new stencil from Hero Arts called Large Flower Stencil. I placed my stencil on a piece of off white cardstock and held it in pÃ¥lacewith some washi tape. I started by inking the yellow and Brown part of the flower first - then I created a mask for that part of the stencil (the flower) from masking paper - so I didn't mess my yellow flower when I inked the green leaves. When I was done with that I let my panel dry completely before I cut out a stitched rectangle from it. I saved the leftover and adhered that outer frame to my cardbase. I then added the stitched rectangle panelinside the "frame" with foam adhesive to get a bit of dimension. Last I diecut my "You" and adhered it to the card with glue tape. Hi friends!! It's franci here today with a winter/ Christmas themed project feat. WPlus9 ! Here's what i created.. How cute is this little image? The bear and the little girl are soooo lovely and sweet! :) They are in the set called Holiday Hugs by WPlus9 , there are also some presents and of course the sentiment to complete your project. It's a mini set and i'm in love with mini sets! Thay are super affordable and you can create soo many scenes!!:) I stamped my images with the Memento tuxedo black ink , i colored them with my copics , i added some details with a white gel pen and i die cut them with their coordinated dies . Then i cut a white cardstock to 4 1/2 by 6 inches and i created my background sponging some Evergreen Bough  distress ink. I also cut 2 stripes of white cardstock (the one at the top of the card is 3/4 of an inch by 6 inches and the one at the bottom is 1 1/4 by 6 inches), i created the dry embossing with the

Thoughtful - Card

Hello all! It's Coralynn here and I'm excited to be back on the BRI blog.  I hope you are all doing well. I have a very simple card for your today that can be for someone special or as a thank you card. I decided to use Concord and 9th for my card since they are celebrating their birthday this week. I started out with an ivory card base and with the same colour card stock, I cut out the flower from the Floral and Flutter dies.   I took the Lawn Fawn Scalloped border dies to give the card some interest so I dry embossed it twice at the bottom of the card.  I cut out the sentiment and stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. That's it for me.  I hope you enjoyed my card and be sure to stop by the shop and see all the new awesome products. Coralynn  :) Supplies: InLinkz.com

Back To School- Plan With Me!

Hey ya'll!! I am back with something a little different! I decided to join the planning world last month and I just wanted to show you that you can still be creative, even when planning! So let see what I came up with! I like to call this memory planning. This is a photo I took last year of my kiddos and wanted to insert it into my planner. I also thought of Amy Tangerine's  Better Together  &  Finders Keepers  Collections. Her Collections are always so bright and cheerful, so I thought these would be perfect!  So to the left of my planner I inserted a punch of the ephemera pieces of both collections, just to give it a good warm welcome effect.  I also used some of the  Ephemera Pieces  on the pages too. The days I didn't have anything going on, I just add some cuteness instead of just having a blank space. Like these  Puffy Stickers  were perfect size for the days I did have something going on. So cute! So here is the photo I used and I j
